I love @MakingTheGrade's pearl collection thread :love:

And like her I reckon at this point I'm pretty much at pearl quota too. Between rising prices and nosediving availability - I feel super lucky to have the pieces I do and I treasure them all ❤️

I mean let's be honest, I'll probably never be able to totally resist the one-offs, and... Maybe a couple more branded pieces? Paspaley's Wild song bird ring is a fantasy wrought in metal. And I still want a Supearl strand. Oh, and I've got a rosey champagne WSS from Takahashi that I'm going to turn into my first #Statement pearl ring. But. Y'know. Aside from those. My need to collect all the pearls is largely fulfilled.

I got a bunch of jewellery display thingies on Prime Day and had way more fun than I probably should have playing with them :bigsmile:

GIA consistently evaluates nacre to be non-trivially thinner than PSL. Not sure who to believe - on the one hand GIA is very transparent about every detail of their test method (and PSL's is impossible to find)... On the other PSL specializes in pearls and the first report GIA printed for me had "fifteen" spelt wrong...

So many beautiful pieces, one after another! Item’s I didn’t think I wanted, I now MUST have —- that super white cute keshi bracelet from Takahashi?!? I didn’t even like champagne WSS but your bracelet has me drooling for one.

Absolutely LOVE grey MOP bracelet shade! I managed to get the same approved couple of years ago - but when received in the boutique it was not as colorful, so I rejected it. It was sold literally quater an hour later to the other customer… and I am still kicking myself for not taking it home an d looking at it in normal lighting.. your pictures of this bracelet do literally pinch me in the heart. LOVE it along with AM masterpiece bracelet
