Wow, there are some very gorgeous rings on this site!

I've been engaged since November 2006 so I wanted to share a few photos of my engagement ring. My personal style is very simplistic so this is the perfect ring for me. Overall, I'm really happy with the diamond size, cut, clarity and color (1.0ct, super ideal hearts and arrows, H, VS2). It is a Tiffany's setting replica.

Special thanks to Excel Diamonds for creating my ring.

Hi, I''m new to the forum but have been meaning to post my ring pics since I got married in May. My ring is a 2.20 ct. Asscher (sq. emerald) in a plat Verragio cathedral setting, with a .5 ct plat channel-set asscher band from Blue Nile. I got to pick it out with my husband. He wasn''t such a fan of the Asscher - he wanted me to get a round brilliant - better sparkle, faces up larger, more traditional. But, I think I get pretty good fire with this asscher, and I get lots of compliments because it''s unusual. Sometimes I do wish it faced up bigger though - the measurements are 7.2 mm x 7.1 mm, much smaller than an rb of the same size, but I have a pretty small finger, size 5, so I think it fits my hand well.

What do you think of the modern style settings? I always liked the sleek look, but my friend just got engaged, and her asscher is set in an antique style setting, and now I think I want sidestones, but I''m undecided between an antique setting, or classic 3-stone setting. Eiither way, I''ve got a few years until my 5-year anniversary to figure out which one I want
