Specs on the ring: RB 1.64 H VVS1 in a circa 1930s setting with fish-tale style prongs. Ring size 4. The ring came all put together and it actually displayed beautiful arrows. Hopefully the pictures will upload. It's much more delicate in person and the milgrain is so tiny! The photos make them show up really well but it's much much finer than in the pics. I feel so blessed to have such a beautiful amazing ring (and large to boot!) but more so I feel very blessed to have such an amazing man in my life. I never knew what unconditional love was until I met him (we knew right away we were meant to be together...crazy I know!) that treats me like a princess, tells me I'm beautiful so many times I day I lose track and goes out of his way to make me feel like I'm the most important person in the world.

Finally! I was a LIW for a long while then didn't check it. This has been many years in the making. May I present my new addition...
It is 1.12 carat, color E, set in WG band by Precision Set. I love it so much!

My fellow popped the question last weekend, and I want to share my ring because I think of it as the ring that pricescope built. I have lots of pictures to share, but before I get to that, I thought I would share the story of how the ring came to be in case it helps other people like me who come to this site completely new to the fine jewelry game.

I was so surprised when BF (I mean -- fiance --) proposed during a quiet evening in Paris. I have been a lurker and a Pricecope LIW, so I am so excited to be sharing ring pics with you all! The ring is sparkly and icy white. Even in the dark, it seems to glow a cold, cold white. I'd say Fiance did a great job! Of course, he admits to having lurked on Pricescope before selecting the diamond and setting.
Stats: 1.52ct, E color, triple-ex in a Bez Ambar setting. Size 4.

This is my ring! We picked it out together but he is holding it hostage til ready to propose. I wasnt even allowed to try it on! Ooo the torture. The center stone is a 1.2 carat round, I, SI2. The setting is a platinum miligrain with engraving on the sides and 10 round side stones. I love it!!!

Well guys and gals, its finally completed. After months of research, buying, and waiting, the ring is officially done!
I had a local jeweler custom make the setting. I had already purchased a diamond from GOG (who was great by the way!). The center stone is a 1.03 H VS2 AGS0. The setting consists of 2 trapezoid at .27 ctw and .65 melee.
Hopefully you guys enjoy, I really cant thank you all enough!
Now its time for the proposal. Were headed to Vegas in a few days, so i'm thinking something with the Bellagio Fountains (how cliche right haha)!
I can't remember if I've posted my ring in this thread, but here goes one from our wedding day a few months ago.
It's a 1.28 J AVC set in a YG BGD Classic Truth Micropave ring, with matching WG BGD band.

Hey everyone. First off all, I want to say thanks to everyone for all of the help and for all of the info I've found here on PS. You've helped to ensure that I know more about diamonds and rings than I ever wanted to.
The ring is a 1.21 carat H color SI1 ACA RB from White Flash that's set in their white gold 4 prong TIffany setting.
I just got these pictures from WF today and wanted to see what y'all think.
Specs
Shape and Cutting Style: Old Mine Brilliant
Measurements: 6.26 x 5.87 x 3.80 mm
Carat Weight: 1.02 carat
Color Grade: G
Clarity Grade: VS2
Ring Size: 4.25 (needs to be resized to 3.5)
I found quite a bit of helpful information on this forum so I thought I would post some pics of the end result. 1.11 carat, IF, E color and ideal cut from Whiteflash. Have not seen it in person yet. Definite overkill I know but I figure that when you look at your life's earnings it is a tiny percentage and worth it considering it is a one-time hit for the most important person for the rest of your life.
Here's some iPhone pics of my AVC in a palladium belcher style ring. The stone is a 1.57 carat G-I1 AVC from GOG, the stone is eye-clean and I feel very fortunate to have snatched it up before any other PSers saw it

Thank you so much to all you that contribute to pricescope. Without this site I would have been stuck with my EGL stone. After getting educated by all of you i made sure to trade in my EGL and go with a AGS Ideal cut stone. I could not be happier! The diamond is a stunner.
I am also giving 0.81 total carat weight JA AGS000 earrings as engagement earrings. Shown in pictures.
1.306 carat
Cut AGS0
Color I
Clarity VS2
7mm round

First, thanks for all the support and advice this forum has provided me. I have learned a lot through it and gotten some good advice from members. I was able to find a U/V colored round halo diamond from DBL which David created beautifully. Its 1.04 ct + .3 ct side stone. I hope my gf will love it as I propose next weekend.

My bf proposed to me a couple days ago - he presented to me the most beautiful diamond ring i've seen and I'm very happy and excited about sharing my life with him. He did a great job researching, choosing the right stone as well as picking the setting. It's a bit bigger than what I wanted, but it's so beautiful i'm sure i'll get used to the size in no time. It sparkles like crazy - looking at it always puts a smile on my face
I'm sharing some pictures of my new ring with you all
If i remember the spec correctly it's a 2 carat round brilliant, F and SI1 with a knife edge tiffany style 6-prong setting

Fast-forward to today, I am very happily married and very fortunate to wear the beautiful bling I currently have...Its a 1.67 F I1 H&A from GOG in a Michael Bondanza setting(totally inspired by Facetfire's show-stopper!) I was very lucky when this diamond came along at the right time, the inclusion is nearly 100% prongable and was a GREAT value. Jonathan is a true professional and his passion for his work and diamonds is infectious. So after all these years I'm coming out of my shell and saying thank you to so many of you who devote your time and experiences to helping the lurkers out there !!!!! So now bear with me as I make my first attempt at uploading a picture of my set......

I'm engaged! Here are pics of my beautiful BGD H&A 1.261c J SI2 (eyeclean) in a legacy-style setting. Size 6 7/8.
There are supposed to be rubies under the "V" on either side of the ring, but someone didn't read the instructions and set a surprise ruby inside the band instead. I'm taking it back next week to have the rubies set where they're supposed to.
Only one handshot for now. I haven't even had time to take my own pictures of the ring...here are some glamor shots to tide you over.

It tooks us months to pick out, make, and receive the ring but it was all worth the effort. After the long strenuous process, we went with Mark and Chris at Engagement Rings Direct.
Ring Style
Sixty 50 point melees for a total carat weight of 2.01. Single Claws, small doughnut, reminiscent of the Harry Winston cushion except with curved struts.

I haven't posted much in this part of PS but have spent plenty of time lurking while doing most of my posting over in LIW. Now that there has actually been a proposal, I can officially show the bling!
My FI selected a ring from Blue Nile (Blue Nile Pave setting), and I am completely in love with it. I know that Blue Nile gets a bit of a bad rep on PS because there is no upgrade policy and they don't actually have the diamonds on site. However, FI has nothing but good things to say and had a wonderful experience. He called many times and talked with them about various diamonds he was considering and they helped to point him in the right direction. He was even comparing 2 specific diamonds and they explained what the inclusions were like, where they were located, etc. to help him decide, so they were very helpful. It was a good experience for him overall...and now that I have this beauty, it's of course a great experience for me, too.
Here are the details: 1.4 ct, Ideal Cut, G Color, VS2 Clarity. The setting is 2.2mm wide with .5 ct of pave diamonds...

The wedding isn't for a few months but I recently chose and ordered my eternity wedding band - and I LOVE it!!! It's 1.0 carat full eternity set in white gold. Turns out it's a little too big, which normally I wouldn't mind because my fingers swell and shrink signficantly with the weather, time of day, Chinese food, etc. , but it seems to want to turn crooked sometimes. I may get sizing beads put in, or just leave it, I'll just have to see how I feel after wearing it for a while. For reference, my engagement ring is 1.70 J SI2 center with .5 baguettes, set in white gold size 6.5. I was scared of the J color but was assured by the designer that because of the exceptional cut (stats are EX/EX/EX) that any faint traces of tint would never appear to the naked eye or casual observer, and he's right. I see the very slightest tint once in a blue moon depending on where I am and what the lighting conditions are, but it is very rare-and I catch myself studying it A LOT and am so pleased with its performance and sparkle. I like the not-too-matchy-matchy look of the set. Eventually I'd like to upgrade the band to a 3 carat or larger, but I'm thrilled with this one for a nice long time.

Thanks to Pricescope and all of the knowledge I've gained, I purchased an ACA H&A 1.205 carat VS1 H in a Guinevere setting from Whiteflash (who has been wonderful so far). Here are some pictures before it was shipped. I plan to propose within next two weeks. Will take more pictures once she says yes!
