The Big DIY Thread

A few months ago Fieryred suggested that we start a DIY thread to showcase finished stuff. Sort of like the PS Wedding sticky thread but for all the awesome DIY projects that are posted here on PS.

I have compiled a bunch of the DIY projects from the last few years. Most of them are invitations but there are some other projects included. Some of these I had already bookmarked for my own reference and I enjoy looking at them for inspiration.

I hope other brides will add on a link to their project threads as they are completed or post some of the PS threads they find inspiring.

Used Engagement Photos and love quotes on blank pages. This way we can use our guestbook all the time! It will be a coffee table book.

Glueck- I just went and looked through some of your threads! I love your proposal story! I''ve been to that castle and it really is a breathtaking tramp through the woods to get there but SO worth it! Your engagement photos are awesome and the I love how the photographer captured the movement in your dress in the images. So romantic. Great idea to make a snapfish photobook to use as your guest book! I just might have to steal that idea!

OH my! I found some of your other stuff but I can''t believe I missed these! Thanks for posting the links! I suppose after sifting through 100s of PS threads my eyes started to cross.

I just wanted to show you all a trial bouquet a friend of mine made for me - the types and colors of flowers aren't right - he literally was working with whatever they had at THE GROGERY STORE just to see if he could do it. I think it's incredible for someone who got the instructions off google as to how to make a bouquet on his first try!

Anyway, if our bouquets are relatively simple (and i think they will be - we might do calla lilies or amaryllis) we might try to do them ourselves on his instructions....i thought they were just lovely. and just the thought that someone would want to help out in that way was really really touching. check it out!
