glueck, those door tags are so cute! How did you cut out the scalloped edge on the circles? Using a template and regular scissors or with special scissors?

I have not asked my bridesmaids to be in my wedding party yet...here are the cards I made for them. I was starting to do a template for our invites but I decided to turn it into a new project. I folded origami dresses using craft paper and blinged up the cards with rhinestones. The font I used for the names is based on the Albermarle Swash font that I adore.

Cute cards Sammyj! I would love to receive something like that in the mail!

As for the scalloped edges... no talent included. I bought the paper like that from paper presentation in NYC.

So here is the diy project I used to ask my 2 sisters to be in my wedding :)
I put pictures of me and each sister growing up and just being...sisters lol and i wrote all sorts of touching things and i got little scrapbooking items to add in about being sisters and getting married and on the last page it has a picture of me in each of their weddings and it says something along the lines of "it was such an honor to be a part of your wedding and i simply can''t imagine my day without you, would you be my bridesmaid?"

Oh Jo, those are so sweet! I can just picture your sisters hanging on to them and finding them years and years from now.

BTW-did the dress crisis resolve itself?

Sammyj, they''re adorable!!!
I didn''t even think to do will you be my bridesmaid cards, but you''ve inspired me!!! I''m working on them now, and will post the finished product when I''m done. How did you ensure the print aligned right on the cards? I had a hard time with that last night!

thanks princessplease! the cards still aren''t finished...I''m waiting until we book our venue and confirm our date (which is going very slowly) before I send them out.

Everything was done by hand, including the names. I hope that helps with your print alignment questions! Looking forward to seeing your cards. :)

Kudos to you sammyj for doing it by hand!!! You''re very talented!
I took the lazy route and printed on the computer. It took me two hours to align everything right!! But, so far so good!

Here is one of my finished bridesmaid cards.
