My DIY invites...

I'm taking a small break from studying to show you guys my invites. We had them all sent out about two weeks ago so here they are-

Oooh! I love pocketfolds! We are having pocketfolds too! and I LOVE your colors! Very elegant.

LOL! My apologies. My head has not been "in it" around here recently. I didn't even read the second sentance of your OP.

Very beautiful!!! I still see things like this and am amazed people can do that themselves, haha! I only hope I can be that creative when the time comes.

I have one small (seemingly silly

) question - it looks like you just basically fold it up as is and put the stamp on it. So isn''t there a risk of the inserts on the right side falling out when it''s sealed? Just curious, I don''t know much about invitation styles yet. Thanks!

luvthemstrawberries-we put them in an outer envelope when we were sending them out and my uncle did the calligraphy for the envelopes as well. It was only I sent nearly all of them that I realised I hadn''t taken any photos of them to post!

I also like how you put the guest''s name on there. Pocketfolds are hard to "personalize" since they are practically an inner envelope in and of themselves, so that''s a cool idea!

Thank you very much Lanie and princessplease! Our colours are gold, Ivory and Purple, so we got the gold pocketfolds (they don''t seem to show the colour correctly in the photos) and we were going to put some purple writing on them but it just didn''t look right so we stuck with black and white for the rest of the inserts.
