Hey everyone!

So our invites came in from the printers today - I am generally happy with them! We had thermography (raised printing) done on the main invitation pages and it isn''t as noticable as I had hoped, but all in all I think they are great!

I''ve got some pics to post, and need some advice for what we should do to the outside of the ''pocket'' (you''ll see when I put the pics up).

Let me know what you think...

And here they are put together with the eyelet (I used my handy crop-a-dile)

And they will go into these pocket thingies (will serve as inner envelopes). I am showing a mockup of option 1 as to what I can do on the outside.

And either option 1 or 2 with this ribbon. So what do you think?

Totally agree with Jcrow. Option 2 is lovely as well, but option 1 is the best fit.

Option 1 without ribbon?

As far as the crop-a-dile goes, here it is http://cgi.ebay.ca/We-R-Memory-CROP-A-DILE-Eyelet-Snap-Punch-New-in-Pack_W0QQitemZ180265585591QQihZ008QQcategoryZ75576QQcmdZViewItem.

It has 2 different sizes of hole punch that matches the 2 standard eyelet/grommet/snap sizes. Then there is a little gadget that sets the grommet/eyelet or whatever. It is sooo easy. My hands are tiny so it got a tad tiring after 100, but seriously, it is sooo much better than using one of those little hammer/metal post thing that you usually use for eyelets.

I''m a big fan!

What about if I use a thicker ribbon on the ''belly'' of the black pocket?

Thanks! My MOH also just tried putting the symbols together - so the two "J"s with the damask symbol in place of the "&". It might work too.

Thanks!

I also like option one with a ribbon. I wouldn't go any thinner with the ribbon than it is now.

ETA: I completely forgot to mention that those are beautiful!!!!

Thanks Dani!! So option 1 - do you think with the ribbon or without? If I do the ribbon, I may go a tad thicker, if that makes a difference.

Yes....go with option # 1 with the ribbon....I like the ribbon width you posted, but if you want to go slightly thicker I think that would be fine too!!!

Cool invites, October! I''ve only seen one other pocket invite like yours.

my vote is for #1 with no ribbon.

Hey OctoberBride,

I love them! They are so original!

Did you end up paying any duty taxes? I am considering Wedding Paper Divas.

Option #1, with ribbon. And I do think that a slightly (but only a very small bit) wider ribbon would look good, too.

I also like this one with the initials on diagonal.... and the two J''s look symmetrical which is nice...
