Let's talk about the blog!

I'm loving the new PS blog feature! But so often I want to comment on what I see on the blog - even if it's just to ooh and ahh - and then get frustrated when I look around and see no option for doing that.

So I thought I'd start a thread - a place for anything from random comments to discussions about the PS Blog offerings.

To start the ball rolling, I'd like to say "thank you" to Ella and Erica W. and anyone else who's contributing to the blog and making it possible. :wavey: :appl: It's a great way of showcasing new information and fantastic bling, and now that I've gotten used to that little sidebar, I find myself looking forward to the the new offerings!

ETA - I looked for another blog thread but couldn't find one. I'm sorry if there's already another blog thread out there that I overlooked!
 
Agreed! I'm liking the new blog feature, as well.

A little off topic...

While I love Barbie's new bling, I'm still hating her diminishing waistline and its potential reprecussions on those not naturally built this way. I mean, come on!! :sick: :nono:

Actually, the first thing I noticed about Barbie was that some other features had been "diminished" - I assume so as not to detract from the real bling! :lol:

Zoe: Look on the right side of this page. You should a link that says "Blogs." Click on it and it should take you to the blog.

Thanks for the shout-out! I aim to bring fresh and diverse content to PS via the blog and also provide a variety of diamond and jewelry news that folks might miss otherwise.

I've had to disable the comments, unfortunately, to avoid spam. Hopefully at some point, we will be able to fix this issue and enable comments.

I'm not really a halo girl ( :devil: ), but I have to admit to drooling over both the "jewel of the week" ring (Ashika's) and the "diamond eye candy" ring (kimber481's) showing right now. I think it's the rectangular center stone that makes the difference for me...
 
Wow! Barbie looks very glamorous. Her hair won't look like that once its been dunked in the Barbie 'Pool Party' pool :lol:

In theory I suppose there's no reason not to buy - say - a pair of classic hoops from a vending machine... but the ideal of a piece of decent jewelry in clamshell packaging is a bit of a turn-off!
 
Look at that ruby ring! I'd like just to be able to hold a stone like that in my hand for an hour. Wow.
 
OH my... the PS Vegas GTG fashion show has begun! Some of those beauties I recognize on sight, of course, but others are a total surprise to me since I haven't spent much time on SMTB in quite awhile. Like Art Nouveau's cuprian tourmaline beauty -

Next year I will have to find a way to make it to the GTG!

And just think how many MORE goodies there would be for the rest of us to ogle, if you were there, Ms. Kismet! :wink2: I wouldn't add appreciably to the goodies count, but I can drool (politely, of course) with the best of them!

Me too! I love that it's so beautiful and simultaneously tells a story. I really wish I could get a better look at the diamonds in the top of the snake's head.
 
Thanks VRB! I had no idea it was even up there until a friend alerted me. I tend to stick to the forum pages and I have the right sidebar deactivated. I was sitting there going "Why on earth is my CS thread on the earrings reactivated?!"

Anyway, I love them. They are fantastic.
