My ring size is US 4.25. I think the spread of my diamond helps somewhat too...at 10.3 mm.

I'm also considering buying a J diamond, and would like to get your thoughts on the color. How visible is the warm color to you, especially compared to other diamonds?

Hi Mochiko,

The warmth in a J diamond is definitely visible to me as I am color sensitive and could pick out little nuances of color differences. Over the years of visiting B&M stores/jewellers and having the chance to view J color stones in real life, I would say that I love the slight warmth of J color diamond, as opposed to the icy white D,E,F. I have also been fortunate enough to view some warmer than J colors, particularly K,L,M...and figured out that I would like my diamond to be not warmer than J in terms of color.

The stone on my engagement ring is a 1 ct GIA-G color without fluorescence, and I took some comparison pics to show the slight color difference between G and J...hope this helps!
