The stone above is a good example because even though you see a stone head on some of the time, you do see it at angles where you'd see the tint from the crown even in a halo. I think the link above shows significant tint in an H color when tilted. Again, I would potentially try it in rose gold, but I think it would be too risky to order a stone to be set in a halo that would be a pain in the neck to exchange and do a reset if the stone bothered her. And all that would have to be done within 30 days which might not even be possible when part of the time would be taken up having that setting custom made.

Wow! That would be awesome in a RG setting or even a setting that was mainly white metal with a touch of RG -- like on the prongs/basket or even on a very delicate inner halo/bezel. [emoji7]

I think I'd like to try and find a stone without the brown tint - I'd like to stick w platinum or white gold on the setting as she would prefer that.

I'm more interested in getting this right than hitting 30 days exactly as well.

You may want to check with a few vendors to see what the turnaround time on that Scholdt setting is... that may impact your time frame.
