So as it turns out...maybe...NOT a heart attack?

I hope it's not cancer and that it's just some temporary ideopathic issue. I'm really sorry your family is disallowed from being with you in this scary time.

Here are a few more pictures that bring me pleasure, as I hope they will for you as well.

My favorite this year - first light after a storm over the mountain ridge infront of my window:

I am nowhere tired of the view & it changes throughout the day,

From the back of the house,

& a walk nearby, not long ago,

I went back this morning, and the orchids are seed pods now; I wish I had seen this thread '( to take the camera! [Nts.]

I hope you can ignore possibilities, until there is news.

What a glorious place to live! And I love those purple Iris's - one of my favourite flowers.

Well, the pain and the adrenalin started at 6.30am. For the first hour or two, my pulse was a little high, and since I had a stent, they didn't want my heart to work so hard. So they pumped me full of beta blockers - and now my pulse has been over 110 for the last 3 hours or so.

My inflammation markers - which should be 0-3, and were 101 tomorrow, are now 258.

Temp up, feeling groggy. Feet freezing.

Whatever it is, they have no idea.

That sounds miserable! Hoping they are able to find the cause and get it under control quickly.

@mrs-b Sweetie, are the medics considering pheochromocytoma? A growth on the adrenal gland possibly could be a cause of these horrid episodes you are repeatedly experiencing, blood pressure fluctuations, nausea, sweating, headache, fatigue etc.

I was a nurse and was checked out for this about 6 years ago. My symptoms were caused by something else but this rang a bell with me and I want to make sure your medical team are considering this.I am sure it can cause raised inflammatory markers a s well.

Sending you a great big virtual hug!

What beautiful animals! I love their faces. Mine (Hero) might look similar if he didn't have a big scar. (Hero was adopted and we never found out the exact cause of the scar, but it has diminished over time.)

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope it is something simple to fix and they find it soon.

My goofy boys!

@Niffler, can it cause chills, a rise in CRP, a rise in adrenaline, and a racing pulse for 6 hours or so - then it drops down and pulse not too bad. It's the episodic nature of this that's confusing everyone.

These two are rescues too. The black boy went through seven homes and three different rescues before we brought him home. The lighter boy was supposed to go to a rescue in my area but she backed out last minute and I just couldn't send him back to Louisiana. It is so hard to see scars and not know where they came from. I am sure Hero has forgotten all about what caused it as he enjoys his life with you!

I am not Niffler and the only result of my looking it up to see if I could help answer your question was to think that I have it. I have to stay away from medical sites! I hope Niffler or another medical person gets back to you soon, mrs-b!

@mrs-b Yes I believe it could do. These episodes can be variable from a few minutes to hours and episodic in nature, occurring daily or only a few times a month.
I hate doing this online but this should be considered and ruled out by your medical team.

My 15 year old daughter drew this elephant for you to give you hope and positive energy. She is a digital artist and I asked her to draw you something. I hope it brings you a smile and that today brings some answers.

I don't know if you enjoy webcams of nests, but there is a webcam of an osprey nest in Estonia that I enjoy watching. As they are 7 hours ahead, it's daytime there during the wee hours here in the US, so it's nice to watch if you are awake in the middle of the nightt. I find the background sounds of nature very pleasant and soothing and I sometimes keep a window open to the webcam while doing other things online, just to listen to nature.

The nest has 3 eggs. The male and female take turns incubating the eggs. Ivo is the male (leg band ED) and Iiris is the female (no leg bands.) They successfully raised 3 babies last year.

Here are links to the live webcam on YouTube and the discussion thread for this specific nest. (You can also drag the video backwards to "rewind" to see the previous 12 hours).

Webcam:

There are other webcams, too: https://www.looduskalender.ee/forum/index.php

@Niffler -

I just checked with my nurse about this. Pheochromocytoma is exactly what they're looking for; testing for metanephrines.

mrs. B, I’m so sorry your still feeling so yuck, and baffling doctors! I pray that the doctors figure this out soon, and that they get some guidance from the man above! Here is my favorite picture of all time. Our family hike to Mount Roubideaux here in So Cal. 89ED557A-3A7E-4EB0-84DD-54AD2D839FA4.jpeg
