The Rolex with the pink stones- I love this! Is that an aftermarket thing or do they make it like that? It’s subtle but wonderful and I’d love to learn more about it. Gorgeous collection! And your oval ring

Thank you very much. The Rolex came as is with the pink stones (I do not recall if they are diamonds or sapphires). This is out of Rolex store in NYC.
The oval stone I did not keep (opted for emerald cut)

Black Bay gold and steel 32mm. I love the lume. Easy to read without my readers at night.

I totally missed this before but it's so gorgeous! I'm very attracted to the Tudor 32mm size -- may I ask what your wrist size is? The 32mm is perfect on you!

Thank you so much. The wrist is about 7", not a small wrist. I did have to buy two extra links (ouch) as I believe it was sized at 6.75 or so, I could squeeze it shut, but not a nice look.
I'll share a few more pictures. One other reason I love the Black Bay is the great lume. I do not have a good lume shot hands, but it is a beautiful turquoise blue that lasts.

I love my Tudor watches so much, I am close to a other collection sell off.

Thanks so much for these photos -- the lume is unbelievably bright! My wrist is also a 7 so your photo gives me a great perspective. Now I just need to find one to try on to confirm my decision! I'm leaning toward the same model but with a black face. The two tone is just so sharp looking!

Good luck with the hunt! I also considered the black dial but bought with the Jomashop price and what they had available. If I bought from the dealer, I would have went with the black dial too. The links are about $75 each. The bezel is solid gold, but links are heavy rolled gold - they will be able to be polished.

Also, I have been so happy with the accuracy. This automatic has been on the watch winder for two months, I think it is off about 7 seconds - so I am happy. I tend to wear the Royal more often because it is less dressy, more of a daily tool watch. Another lume pic, I just love the lume colors. The picture above was from daylight and high light exposure right to a dark room photograph, so the lume is exaggerated at highest intensity, but the lume lasts until morning in regular conditions. Both watches are extremely comfortable on the wrist. I'm a Tudor fan for life.

Thank you for those photos! Your collection is #goals!

Did you get the links from Jomashop also? I'm stalking a Tudor there currently . . . .

Tudor' s accuracy is indeed wonderful -- my husband has had 3 models over the years and really enjoyed each one. Until recently I didn't see a Tudor model I cared for, until I realized that I wanted to move into a slightly smaller case size instead of 36 to 39mm cases. 32mm to 34mm seems to be my sweet spot now, and the Black Bay two tone is a classic I can imagine keeping forever!

Thank you, Beagles,

I feel the same way - classic watches I will keep for my lifetime.

As far as the links go, I went through an AD in Northern Virginia and ordered two directly. It took about 3 weeks to get them at my house. I carefully put them on. Unfortunately Joma shop does not offer links.

This two-tone Daytona is the most versatile of my watches. Suitable for all occasions, goes with yellow or white gold, suitable during the day but also for the evening, goes with casual or more formal clothing - I really like it!

So I realize this barely counts as a watch, but I finally got my dream “timepiece” in my clutches. Yes, it’s quartz, and, no, you can’t tell time with it.

All very exciting.

Sadly, the bracelet is a bit too big, and it can’t be sized. So it must go back. The question that remains: do I try again for this same model (discontinued) or a more, uh…basic version?

It’s been a real bear trying to find another one of these (new) from a legit source. And now that I have it in hand, I wonder if it’s a bit too jazzy, anyway? Doesn’t help that I’ve recently become painfully aware of the tint in my e-ring, and that warmth is even more jarring once in close proximity to pave.

The alternative would be either a plain stainless steel with opaline guilloche dial, or maybe just a li’l pave on the bezel.

Oh my god that is gorgeous. I’ve lusted over the tubogas serpenti for ages and ages, with plans to buy, but haven’t gotten around to it yet. The one you have though - it makes my heart skip a beat! It is perfect and beats so many of the normally available models hollow. The guilloche dial is pretty too, but the lines of pave going across the dark face are special. Please keep this!! It’s amazing!!

My lovely Tank SolarBeat- I had wanted a Tank for years, then when this version came out I had to wait months to get one! Anyway, it’s gorgeous, the battery apparently lasts for 16 years and the strap is vegan leather. Size small- my wrist is 5.5 inches.

Now that is a fabulous timepiece. I would go with what moves you. I do also do love the one with the pave on the head. That is just more snake-like to my eyes. This watch makes such a statement. Can't wait to see what you end up with. Congratulations on taking the leap!

Thank you so much, @LLJsmom! It does go with everything, and is so comfortable. I think I’ll wear it alone, for now anyway. Don’t want to scratch it!

I hear you. I wouldn’t want to scratch that baby either. Enjoy!

+1 on wearing it solo. I feel the same way about scratching.
It's beautiful! So classic and elegant.
