Dan made this recently and I love the way it turned out. It is based off an antique ring design I saved. The center is a 6x4mm (.40ct) paraiba from Desertrose and the melee are gems from Yvonne's shop, 1.3mm demantoid inner halo and 1.5mm mahenge pink spinel outer. Set in 18k. I can't say enough good things about Dan's workmanship! Definitely worth the wait.

Dan supplied the .20ctw side diamonds and they are very sparkly irl.

How’s everyone’s projects going so far? I am at a month and 3 weeks since he received my stone (Approved CADs at this point and waiting for casting to come back supposedly 2 weeks ago) . Good thing I’m not in a hurry.:lol:

I’m not complaining or talking ill about him in anyway, btw. I know he is a one man show and is super busy.

Has he given you reasons for the delay???

The longest I've had to wait was about a month, but it wasn't a complicated piece. We're in communication right now about an art deco style hexagon ring and a simple earring project. There isn't a hurry for my pieces, so we'll see how long they take to complete.

"I'm almost done with the CAD." :lol-2: I'm over being bothered by it. I just laugh now. I mean, what can I do? I just check-in every now & then, and I'm obviously not in any rush. For some reason, I'm not upset about it. Must be the "new me."

I sent him a message last night as I've been waiting 2 months for a cad ( he has the stones). He said he's gotten some help and plans to get better with turnaround times. I hope so as I'm getting backlogged with stones I want him to set !

I have been waiting see if he would get caught up before sending him more stone. I now see i have to get in line and wait

Custom citrine ring. I supplied the asscher cut citrine. He supplied the small diamonds which we put in trapezoid shape for a lower budget option. I shipped him an amethyst which arrive on July 1 and I don't have a CAD yet.

I love this. Step cuts are one of my favorites especially in colored gems.
