Tuckins, Siamese, and Honey, your rings are sooooo icy white! I just love looking at them!

Cindygenit, when I was looking at rings, I wanted either a princess halo or a round halo so my BF at the time decided, why not combine the 2! The good thing too is that Henri Daussi would have made my setting for any kind of diamond my FI would have gotten for me! He''s such an awesome FI that he thought to combine the 2 since I wasn''t sure exactly which one I would have wanted to be my forever diamond anyways. Now I have the best of both worlds!

Patchee, thanks so much for the kind words! This forum is definitely addicting!!

Sugar,
I love all the rings on this thread too! It''s soo cool that we can all see and admire all the different colors in this site!

Hi Whiteby! they''re hearts -- here''s a link to my original post: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/pictures.94610/

By the way, I totally agree re the special beauty of all diamonds D-Z...... for the longest time, I thought only diamonds D-H/I were jewelry material, but since discovering Pricescope, I''ve been captivated by the incredible stones here in the K - O range! One of these days, I''d love to get an OMC or OEC, high crown, WARM stone.... or one of those awesome GOG cushions..... hmmmm.

I hear ya...

I grew up in the Southeast Asia and if your diamond is not a D and round cut, then its not a diamond. For so long, I am not interested in diamonds until my BF (now FI) start talking about engagement and marriage possibility. And thats when I start doing research on diamond ring on the internet. I came across Pricescope and haven't left since. My e-ring is a D color but I am curious about lower color diamonds now. I would love to own one of the GOG cushion one of these days.

Hopefully peony14 doesn''t mind me adding her asscher to this thread!! She definitely has a gorgeous ring!!!

I totally agree with you. I enjoy all colors but will only get a D for my e-ring, which is one I got. Perhaps later in life I''ll venture to another lower color for earrings using GOG''s chunky cushion. That''ll be yummy. Someday...

Thank you for your kind words joelly, cindygenit, Luckyeshe. By a stroke of luck, we stumbled upon a D colour stone. We are initially looking for F and G colour.

These rings are stunning. I''m so excited as I have just ordered my diamonds today for a ring thats being made up and they are D''s.

Anymore for anymore?

Evaluating diamond color in photographs is not reliable.

Most people do not know how to set their camera's white balance control to the source of light they are using.

Look on the forum Show Me The Ring.
There are lots of yellow-looking Ds and white-looking Ks.

here''s another addition! technically the ring isn''t mine, but it could be my future e-ring. BF and i have been looking at rings for a while and my mom finally brought this baby out to show me. even though i had never seen the ring before i tried it on, my mom has apparently been saving it for years from her inventory.

stats: 3-stone emerald cut - 2.20ctw - center is 1ct and the sides are 60pts each. all the stones are D-IF set in platinum. honestly, color is a low priority on our list since i''m not very color sensitive at all, and i happen to love all colors of diamonds. this was the first time i had seen a D color stone IRL (not to mention combined with an IF clarity) and i must say that it was so bright and icy looking!

i posted a thread in LIW with more pics, but like kenny said, photos aren''t always reliable. those pics have a much more yellow-tone to them since the camera was automatically balancing out the fluorescent lighting. i was so flustered with excitement that i forgot to change the WB setting...and i do photography!

anyway, here''s a more current pic with correct settings.

hi 3rocks, you have a stunning ring! Can I know your finger size pls? tks

Hi do add a photo of the side profile too! Thanks

I love vip 0802''s possible future ring. I also love the one in the marquise halo.
These D''s are all beautiful and I love to look at them! have two F color rings. The AGS 000 is blazing white; the OEC doesn''t look as white--maybe because its in a bezel? Or maybe because its not graded by GIA or AGS?
I would love to see a D in person one day--I don''t think I ever have. But even if the photography is off, these rings are beautiful. Congrats!
