I've added Tweeters besutiful ring by SK. I would choose him or VC.
Thank you so much for the pic from Tweeters! I hadn't seen that and it's very helpful to have another rendition.
Do you mind if I ask why you would choose VC or SK over LM
tweeter8177 said:I agree. That was one reason I decided to go with SK because I had a good idea of what I was getting myself into for $$.
I would imagine your sidestones would be smaller than mine (thus less expensive), but tough to tell. At least you have an idea on the "max" you would spend (at least with SK), although I am not sure what color your center stone is? If you need higher than G/H, it would be more.
Did you get a quote from SK? It might be worth it to give you a general sense of the total $$'s.

I think I would be remiss if I didn't say make sure you get all the costs upfront so there are no nasty surprises at the end and if there are any issues with you wanting to know the final costs run a mile. I can understand your preference based on overall stone placement and more fluid lines by comparison to the others (I really do) but I think you need to have a clear indication from the outset so you don't go down the same ugly path that I did....
I think if you showed Steven a picture and explained EXACTLY what you wanted he would come pretty darn close as well, but ultimately it's your ring, and I totally understand if you love something and have to have it and nothing else. You are purchasing a stock design (unlike me) so it should be far far easier in theory, just make sure you have a full estimate from the outset, then hopefully that will help you avoid any problems.

I have no setting ideas to offer and I love what you have decided on (love pears!) and please be careful who you choose to do this very important project. I know you must have the 411 on a recent occurrence so I know you are taking everything into consideration. Best of luck and I know you are going to end up with an amazing ring! You are one of the loveliest people on PS and I am thrilled you are able to keep both amazing stones!![]()

tweeter8177 said:Well for me, it ultimately came down to the shape of the pears. My choices were 1.04ct (fatter pears) and the one’s I chose which were .85ct. (skinnier). I did want my center stone to pop as an ER, so I went with the smaller skinnier ones. For you, as a RHR, I would not be opposed to going bigger, because it might look less engagement like (less focus on the center diamond), if that makes sense. It is a different look, so it comes down to what you want to achieve. Both would be beautiful (and I would still struggle making the decision myself). To be honest, I have thought of resetting my ER (yes already) and using the current pears I have with my 2.3 ct MRB for a RHR. I think the look would be cool, but I already have money invested in the pears and would want to reuse them!
Do you have pictures from Leon you can post? I have attached a picture below of my choices and the votes were mixed on PS (I picked the ones on the right)!!
Also, here is Kristydarlings pear picking thread that might be helpful, she ended up selecting the biggest set that LM presented to her. But it may help you compare proportions. I studied it quite a bit, because it was such a hard decision!!!
