Love it! Did you buy the stone to set it in Tacori?
Actually, no. I bought the stone first (it was actually a stone Dave Atlas had on consignment--set in a men''s ring--back in the day when he was still doingo retail), played with it for a very long time, then decided I would only get it set in as open a setting as possible. I so loved playing with it loose that I wanted to make sure I could still see as much of it as possible. A jeweler I was working with at that time suggested this ring.

Lauren, how gorgeous!!!! Oh, I love that necklace!

I can officially join the club! Yay

I recently bought this stone, sold as an E colored OMC. But I think it might be an OEC? And possibly D in color.

I am very keen to get an OEC for a RHR one day - the pattern in your new friend is simply stunning!!

I adore the way my omc flashes and changes according to the light and atmosphere

but until that avator snap I could never seem to catch it on camera - such a cheeky stone

9.gif

as to the colour of your new precious...??

hmmm - well my stone is an M - and yours looks much, much, much whiter than that...

then again I have a theory that the warmer hues bounce more AB flashes... and yours is doing that

Well heliotrope-(hehe) mine is the same color as yours, and I adore it-and yours! I do think the warmer colors display more fire, and mine makes me very happy in that regard. It displays a full spectrum, and I see equal reds, greens, blues, and violets. It's hard to see the body color, because the fire and brilliance take over. I'm sure your stone is similar-Love the old cuts. Thanks about the pattern-it pleases me greatly.

These stones are cheeky and hard to photograph(to their full capacity

). My camera will never capture what I see, but that's ok, I suppose...it's my little secret.

Good lord Coati, that is the most amazing ring and diamond! I am so loving the chunky facets and the chunky setting. Who made the setting for you? Are you allowed to say?? It looks like a CM design... Can I see a profile shot?

Coatimundi!!!!!! OMG! I can''t find the good words...

Incredible, fantastic, splendid, amazing, gorgeous, beautiful.... none of these words are enough!

Awwwwwww! It''s a beauty! And your picture are soooo beautiful!

Your diamond seem really white but I suspect you have found the most incredible L or M OEC in this world.

Anyway... it''s delicious to see your ring! Congrats Sweety!

Coati

If you don''t mind me asking, what are the specs on your stone? What I mean is table, depth, crown%, pavillion%, etc.
It is STUNNING!
I have been looking at OECs and would love to know what to look for to help eliminate.

Coati, that ring is a SHOW STOPPER! I hope you''ll consider starting a separate thread in SMTR. The stone is gorgeous and that setting is inspired, IMHO.
