Nope the first one was from Leibish. I really enjoyed talking to them too, but ultimately my girlfriend preferred the second one. Plus, she got to see it in person prior to purchase

Which of the 2 diamonds did she select, the top VVS1 or the bottom VS1 stone in your photographs? The size does look perfect for her lovely hand!

She chose the bottom VS1. The clarity was 2 grades lower but that didn't really matter to us that much. They were the same ct. The color of the second one was a wow factor. I think the sparkle caught her eye And the shape was more square which we (David) thought would be more fitting for her small hand and it was a perfect match

Bouncing around between 2 posts. This is the setting we're going with. GF saw the prong detail and she really like it a lot. She still likes Van Craeynest too so maybe we'll get the wedding band from them

I think both choices (VC and DBL) are excellent, but I would get the e-ring and band from the same source. These two rings are made to be worn so very close to each other... They should match IMO.

I'm not too worried about it right now, but you're absolutely right. I wouldn't want them to clash.

Anyway, David said that it'll take about 2-3 weeks to make the ring. So I'll be back with some pictures then!
