By the 22nd!

I hope one of them makes your heart sing. I love the 3.01 but it will be interesting what your eyes tell you when you see them in person.

Turns out the 3.01 was not available :(

@Kim N and @DejaWiz how does this one look so I can add another stone to the order?

That stone looks great. If you want one in the 3ct range so that you'll still have 3 different sizes to compare, I found these.

the 3.09ct looks lovely! I am a sucker for gcal stones because I have higher confidence in their reporting. @Kim N do you happen to have HCA scores on these 3?

Here you go!

i placed the 2.76ct and 3.09ct on hold. is there one that you like more from a proportions perspective? and does the 2.71ct E still look nicer than even these 2?

Hi all,

First, thank you for your support and helping me validate the concerns with the gray stone. I have asked CO for a return authorization and will be sending the stone back asap.

I asked my partner and family and they all told me to be happy with what I have haha, they're trying to be supportive in their own way but don't really understand like this group does.

@Kim N and @DejaWiz I ended up going with these 3 for comparison:

Will be posting here as a follow-up to this saga. :)

family have their uses ...:lol-2:
but for all things bling related we are your enablers, friends, sisters, shoulder to cry on, what ever you need;)2

looking forward to seeing what you are eventually happy with to have on your hand get and of course the continuing journey of getting there

I didn't see any others I liked more, and the 2.71 E is still the best of the bunch IMO. Do you still have the 3.18 F on the way?

Ritani is securing the 3.18ct F! it is making its way to their facility!

Oh! I meant from the 2.71ct, 2.76ct and 3.09ct and 3.18ct is there one that you like better from a proportions perspective? I may bring both the 2.76 and 3.09ct in to compare but that would take me to 4 stones which is a lot!

The 2.71 and 3.18 have proportions right in the sweet spot. The 2.76 is a bit smaller than the 2.71, so I'd take the 2.76 off the list and keep the other three.

gotcha, what about the 3.09 in relation to the other 2?

I think the 3.09 is still good for comparing three sizes and three colors, but it probably won't be the winner among them. It's also a bit of a different "flavor" to the other two, so you might see variation in performance. My guess is you'll like the 2.71 E for the color, clarity, and HPHT, or the 3.18 F for the size.

They’re here!! And oh man, I’m in trouble. They’re all so beautiful and WHITE! Here is a link to two videos in dappled sunlight and indoors. Ordered from smallest to largest: 2.71 E, 3.09 G, 3.18 F.

What do y’all think? Tagging @Kim N and @DejaWiz

The top 2 look great to me. Without looking at the stats, they caught my eye more than the bottom one.

I am sad that what may be happening is simply the light and not the diamond?
I have not read every word on this thread - but this may be relevant?

Indoors my eyes were drawn to the 2.71. Outdoors the 3.18 seemed to win.

No one should assess diamond cut and appearance in direct sunlight.
There is an inverse relationship. The worst looking in direct sun will be the best looking everywhere else!

Oh goodness, I had to keep replaying the videos! Hard choice! At first, I loved the biggest one but I think I am loving the smallest one! What are your eyes telling you?

I am here as a resource to inform, and sorry, I do not advise which diamond to buy or which vendor to purchase from.

I can’t pick now! Haha I think I need more time with them. In the video indoors the 2.71 had more pin flashes of light bouncing around but they’re all so gorgeous and the biggest ones are you know…bigger Ha :)

Here is another video with two lighting conditions indoors and outdoors. Index finger to ring finger: 2.71E, 3.09 G ,3.18 F

They are all drop dead gorgeous. @DejaWiz and @Kim N knocked it out of the park with these recommendations. I don’t know what was up with clean origins inventory but these diamonds from Ritani are on another level.

Whoops, I didn't mean to quote you! I mean to quote the OP. Sorry about the confusion. I understand who you are though. :)
