Mrsgreeneyes verified that they are using 4H sic back in the beginning of the year on WB where we started ordering from SG and Tianyu. I only saw some body color when a few people went down to J/K. All the antique cuts and the one modern one I have ordered have been G/H. Tianyu breaks it down into D/E and then F but they are all really just colorless. The G/H stones will show a bit of body color unset but they still face up so white. I wish I could take a good pic of all of them at the same time but it is so hard. The halo is a 2 carat H diamond for comparison.

I think it looks great! It is nice to have a simple solitaire setting sometimes. It looks like you have many different ways to wear it too!My platinum setting came back from David today with the special step cut set. I love it! It is very white which will take some getting used to but I am happy with how it turned out. Now I have a plain solitaire again to wear when I don't want to put on the VC ring.
With my platinum 1.75 ctw diamond eternity that is way too white to wear with my ACC.

It's here! I think they did a lovely job. It is a tad too big, more like a 7.75 but I think I can deal with that since it fits on both right and left hands. If I keep losing weight I will put it on the middle finger of RH but it stacks ok too with my Tiffany milgrain ring above. Nice heft to it in platinum and the polish is excellent with no rough spots. I did make sure to ask that the polish be well done and Ella checked it for roughness before shipping out. Overall I am very happy with the workmanship for the price.

Wow, that looks "Amazing" Redwood! They did do a great job on that ring. I think that it was so good of Ella to double check that it was smooth before shipping and just goes to show that she does go above and beyond for her customers. I’m excited to see it in person; it looks much better than my last project with them, which wasn’t bad but a learning experience for sure. DHL has today has the estimated delivery date- I’ll be at work all day, probably tracking the package in another browser tab every chance I get.

What a beautiful set! So glad you love it. I am impressed by their work for the price most definitely. Especially if one asks them to pay attention to small details. I think it looks better without the milgrain because if it is not done right it can mess up the whole look. Good call. That was an ambitious project which them but it looks like they pulled it off. I think it was smart to not do the miligrain. It can always be added over here but I think it may not even be necessary.
