Same. The diamond ones like this cost 5k and up. Yikes.

This one was on sale at a special price due to already being in stock as a returned item.

For a new custom one I was quoted 550$ for platinum in a size 5.5. I think their prices are pretty reactive to metal prices though.

Hopefully so! The prices are very competitive. It’s more than double to buy it from a US Etsy vendor in the same materials the craftsmanship probably isn’t as good but honestly I’m ok with that for the price. And if anything is really annoying I can likely ask my local jeweler to fix it.

I have ordered french cut studs, to test the cut. I’m just afraid, they could look too steely-silvery, not white. But we will see. My earrings are still in production, and I hope they are ready at the end of the week.

After 2 weeks my package is in Canada, was “out for delivery” since 8:30am. Never showed up , after taking a day off work since DHL promised me it would be here today.
I have to say this has been the most frustrating shipping experience I have ever had.

Got the pictures and video of my finished ring today, and it exceeds my expectations by a lot! I am so impressed by how well it turned out down every detail. I’ll try to upload the video once I get home to my computer because the pictures don’t do it justice. Can’t wait for it to arrive!
They will ship it today and informed me that I’d receive a tracking number tomorrow morning. I’ll make sure to update on how the shipping goes as I see some of you have had issues with DHL lately.

I have my French cut band in 18K white & palladium and the stones look very silvery. I wish they looked a bit more white but I think the white gold reflects back onto the stones. I am not sure if that changes in yellow or rose gold? I haven’t seen a diamond one in person to compare.

Since these are 2mm stones they are small and from a distance it doesn’t always look like there is stones in the band. I am not saying I don’t like it but it is not a sparkle bomb like the rounds. It is a good stacking ring or a band for a vintage cut.

I think yours are longer than the inspiration picture but I don’t necessarily think they are too big. It is a blingy look but so is mine and I have no idea what to expect. Waiting on the mail...which I seem to do a lot of these days.

Thanks! Yeah I remember that’s sort of how my small rose cut diamonds used to behave. I’m looking for a more muted look since I’m wearing it as an RHR while also wearing a colored stone ring on that hand.

I ordered mine before they started doing videos of the rings. I only have the video for the center stone. Since @mrsgreeneyes got it first, I am not sure which inspiration picture it came from. It was a little brighter when I first got it but it is definitely more muted now. I think because these stones are slightly recessed with miligrain around the outside edge, it sort of blocks out the natural light. I think French cuts and rose cuts in general are just a different look. It works great as a stacker or as a right hand ring with a colored stone as mentioned by @MakingTheGrade. For an engagement band that is not antique style though, it might be a little disappointing in the sparkle department.

Yes, in macro pictures they are gorgeous which is why I wanted one. In a 2mm moissy though, it is pretty hard to see the faceting and the chunky faceting creates the reflections around it from the metal. I would love to see one in yellow gold but no one has ordered one yet....

The past two DHL deliveries have also never asked for a signature either, so weird. I know others have needed a signature. I know it says so on the shipping instructions. Oh well. Here she is! Only in warm light and bathroom light. I need to take some outside. But look at the heart reflection in the top pic!!

Wanted to share my experience since I became so encouraged to order from Tianyu after reading all the posts here.



I started my order with Sophia and on the
whole, she was very helpful, especially with the back and forth on shank width and then another CAD since I decided to add a wedding band (and another $30). There was a snag when the jeweler made a small mistake in the design that I was actually very specific about after looking at the CAD (where the two sides of the shank come together) but they remedied it quite well and were very apologetic. Shipped out Tuesday, I got it today (no DHL screw ups here)

Thank you! Yes, I went with 14k rose gold. I went 14k over 18k because it’s a little sturdier if I understand correctly, and I’m a bit of a klutz. And yes, the greyness was just a reflection thankfully! The only time it looks grey is in my car, but I have a dark interior. And if cup my fingers around the edge to block the side reflection, it’s white even in my car.
