I''m a huge fan and love all Joss Whedon productions, in fact my wonderful DH just designed the most beautiful mug for me tonight with the Wash quote which I can use when I start my new job in a few weeks.

good question. I truly don''t know! I''ve been on PS for a fair number of years, but my post count is fairly low in comparison. I think i do MUCH better in person than in the online world.

I posted last week that it''s just not worth it to "get into it", so I avoid the drama threads. It really takes a lot to get me riled up (online). Therefore, that makes me a boring poster

Am I conscious of my 'reputation' when I post? I am conscious of the image I would like to project here, certainly. I do not want to be seen at my worst, as I might be in a screaming match with my spouse or my daughter! (I am often, then, foaming at the mouth.) I do allow the 'real me' to be seen, however. I wear my heart on my sleeve and show my feelings of anger about injustice and sadness pretty openly. I also share stories about my family fairly openly.

Do I give credence to a poster with a good reputation here? That depends on what one means by 'reputation'. If one means, 'the general opinion held of the poster', the answer is no. If there were a poster whom everyone revered and I did not, I would not give credence to that poster's views. On the other hand, if one means by reputation the record that a poster has made for himself, as I see it, of course I give credence to it! How could I not give credence to my own opinions?

I think Deb summed up points two and three very elequently. (as always)

As for the first question... yes, I think I have one. I'm not entirely sure what it is though I'm sure "grumpy" is a part of it.

Skippy... you are like sunshine. Your posts always make me feel warm and bring a smile to my face. Same with Lisa, Michelle, and Linda. PS would be a dark lonely place without any of you.

i hope that i dont have a negative reputation. i honstly dont think i am really noticed either since i have only been around a short time in comparison.

i try to be nice and considerate, but i have given a dose of tough love a few times

when i ask a question or start a thread i look for replies from certain people, but i read and think about all the feedback that i get

As I've said in previous threads about topics of this nature - this site, in general, rocks. People are so kind, so nice, so helpful, and most often, genuinely want to help or extend an olive branch or words of support to someone in crisis.

I think collectively, PS has about the best reputation that could possibly be had on the internets.
