I'm losing my mind waiting for it, but this 3.20 QR OMC is headed to me from Sin City Finds- Screenshot_20230731_174448_Instagram.jpg

Yummmmyyyy <3 it's amazing how special and unique OMCs all are! totally different flavor from your current stone.

i guess you'll have to get one of each kind! OMCs kinda seem like potato chips, eh?

I’ve bought my final upgrade diamond- a 6.7 carat Gia H si1 antique cushion.

And a MC2 Bella Flora ring with an oec C4551C4F-782B-48AE-B04D-F091C1A1AFF3.jpeg

oooooh boooyyyyy that big momma is doing things to me :kiss2: ~ i think i'm in love! you have great taste. Mc2 in the same fell swoop?!

a high color, gigantic, impeccably cut OMC? now that is a RARE bird right there. you better be buried with that stone

i am going to throw my hat in the ring - i hope you leave it as-is. i'm not sure what is bugging you about the culet, but to me it's a truly rare piece of history and OMCs with a cut like that are exceptional. i toyed with polishing the girdle on my OMC, but it felt like too much was at stake, and better to leave well enough alone.

but obvi it's your stone to do as you please, i just had to say it!

The culet is off center and I’d love it to be a smidge bigger.

Potato chips , indeed! (or for me lately Boom Chika Pop popcorn :) ).... I had started vaguely thinking about getting a more square omc in a lower color....but really had no immediate plans to buy. But that's how it goes, your brain says "Yes, THAT one !" when it shows up in your IG feed. A little deal was presented and accepted and here I am. All switcheroo-ed.
Just sent to DK to remake the bezel on an 18k yg setting I had. A temp setting until I know how I'll set it.

I have a set of 6 Ruby cabochons given to me by my mum.

She bought them many years ago when I was in my early teens.

About a carat each, nice raspberry red in colour (she keeps saying they are of pigeon blood in colour - they are not! :roll2:); however, they are not equal in size.

I thought about setting them in a bracelet or a bangle or a cluster ring, however, due to their size variation, it may not work.

My latest idea is to set them in a brooch-pendant, in some sort of floral design, like a spray of flowers, in white gold and some diamonds as accent stones.

This way, it does not matter if they are not uniform in size.

DK :))

Eeek!! I bought my fist big girl diamond studs for my upcoming 29th birthday! It’s not super ideal but I’m thrilled regardless. It is over 1.50cttw, close to 6mm, F, and eye clean. It will be in a WG claw six prong setting in a tulip style like so. I’m going to have it tapered to a curve/ more of a martini setting instead of a flat more basket style setting. I am so excited!!! I may not have slender fingers but atleast I have tiny lobes! I’ll take what I can get. 38C94D42-19F6-42F3-B549-0A77DFF8D41B.jpeg

So funny! I am built exactly the same. Man hands and tiny child lobes.

I have short stubby hands, not bad at 5.75 but I give my older sister the stink eye with her long slender 4.5 hands. The audacity. On the other hand, I had a pair of antique 8mm cluster studs converted to dangles because they swallow all my earlobe real estate. So small wins!

Ha! My sister is 11 months younger. We got .5 ct diamond studs for our 21st birthdays, and she is still convinced mine are bigger. Sadly, I have the longest fingers of any female I ever compared with in school, even a 6’1” basketball star. Which could be cool if I didn’t wear a size 8, but I do!

Hey! Atleast you can wear navette shaped rings and have an amazing stack! I look pretty ridiculous stacking 3 rings! I couldn’t even wear a wedding band with my e-ring without it almost going to my knuckles! :))

Thanks so much! In 3 weeks fingers crossed! I guess being near 30 got me thinking about staple pieces. I was thinking about using the funds for an antique toi et moi which will still be in the back burner but I can wear at least wear the studs everyday to alternate with my marquise Victoria style studs at work. I have my holy grail antique converted dangles but boy am I ever scared to wear it working in vet med. All I can picture are ripped earlobes. :)) puppies already successfully ripped my dbty style bracelet and necklace on 2 separate occasions so never wearing those at work again. I’m sticking to rings and studs!

I wish I had small lobes. There’s still tons of space around my 3 ctw. NEED BIGGER STUDS. DONT WANT TO PAY FOR THEM. lol

Hey DK,
I love the idea of a bracelet or bangle - I'm not sure if you saw this post for a bit of inspiration:

Yes I have, thanks, however I don't like the idea of CS in a bracelet.

Also, DBTY style does not suit me being too dainty.

@Resonance.Of.Life (said in a tone of suppressed hysteria) -

Could you pls tell me the stats/dimensions on the diamond in the MC2 setting? That's about the most perfect setting-to-diamond ratio I've ever seen on a ring. (I'm using my inside voice, but I assure you - I'm screaming in my head!!)

And your new huge stunner is just...just...gees, how many ways can I say AWESOME??

Congratulations. Your new additions are breathtakingly beautiful, as always. I am in genuine awe of some of the collections on PS. Yours leads the charge on that. Wear in good health, always.

Bought these to go either side of my new 1.1ct E SI1 stone my DH is giving me for our 40th anniversary next year. This won't be made for another 9 months yet, but I'm happy to wait. ::)

It's actually a 0.91 OEC I VVS1- I don't know the dimensions, the seller lost the cert at some point, and it's hard to measure since the setting does cover a portion of the girdle. But I do LOVE the fluidity in the MC2. I'm currently having the gold rebloomed to bring it back to it's former glory. It's one of my very few yellow gold pieces.

Thank you! I sincerely hope this is the last of the upgrades, I have no real estate left with this big honker on my 4.5/4.75 fingers. (Alas, post pregnancy I am no longer a 3.75/4).

Pictures can’t capture the pretty peacock tones these have in person! Or at least my old model IPhone can’t capture them! 10mm is a perfect size for me. I will definitely purchase from Kamoka again- beautiful pearls, wonderful company, excellent packaging and shipping.

I found the craziest coral floral design platinum ring on TRR that I thought looked like a good remodelling project. The scale was much bigger than I realized, so the coral cab looked like I was wearing an enormous gumball. I found a sweet button pearl that I like much better, and am going to sprinkle paraiba melee around the inside of the flower petals. IMG_7370.jpeg

One of my jeweller’s asked if I’m interested in these Rhodolite earrings. I haven’t see them IRL he said the stones are good (but the photo’s are bad) I haven’t got the stats yet. I’m looking forward to seeing them and because he knows my expectations there’s a high chance I’ll buy them!

Are those diamonds surrounding them?
