Here’s a shot from today. Please forgive my super dry hands! B74133F4-167D-4E3F-B431-40035F711074.jpeg B74133F4-167D-4E3F-B431-40035F711074.jpeg

Absolutely stunning. I love a good orange-red! I have an orangey-red spinel on the way and I hope it will be as vibrant and bright as yours.

Actually, Peacechick, if she wants it, I can ship it to her, avoiding the whole 'back to Thailand then back to the US' thing.

ETA. I don't think this will work for her. I think it will be too pale, and it's rectangular. It really is a very beautiful stone, tho, if pale yellow is what you want. It has no heat, no treatment, comes with a GFCO GemLab report, and is clean as a whistle.

That is absolutely gorgeous! But yes I am looking for a cushion. Thanks so much for thinking of me!!

My new gypsy\flush set. I’m putting it here @Lookinagain so I won’t keep bumping the Preloved thread. I got it from Katyandcoboutique on IG.

Well I love it and I'm so happy you were able to track one down that suited you! Love the rose gold too. Now you've got me thinking that I need a trio!

Well I was really wanting yellow gold but this ticked the other boxes. So I’m actually thinking of getting Dk to plate it but I’m not sure yet.

Just got the last bit of Ireland. The money from the car was just getting smaller as the euro strengthened against the dollar— was still in our account over there. Rather than lose 25% switching € to $, I thought I’d go see what Weldon’s had to offer.

FedEx arrived today and I told my DH that the car was here!

That is BEAUTIFUL!! Wow a real showstopper. I’m confused by the mention of a car?

Price I paid was the money we got for selling our Irish car after we left in March of 2022. Earlier reference, so my bad! We had a second home in Ireland, but got stuck in the US when Covid happened, and after 2+ years it seemed silly to keep up 2 houses.

:love:I'm GAGA for it. I've wanted a three stone in this style since forever. I'd take that over a car any day!

Why give money to the forex exchange when you can have this beautiful ring! Also, green is associated with Ireland so I think it’s rather fitting as a keepsake of your memories. I do like the name “the last of Ireland”, it’s quite romantic.

Thank you. What a lovely thought. Yes, it was the last piece of ‘business,’ closing the bank account.

My husband was born in Ireland and immigrated when he was a toddler. It was his dream to see what living in Ireland was like. So he was retired, all kids grown, we decided to do It! We rented a house and it was so fun to get to know Ireland not as a tourist, and see his cousins more. Covid was not in the plan, though. We were stateside when lockdown happened, dealing with his mom’s estate, and couldn’t get back.

I’m stuck in bed, recovering from surgery. It’s the third week of a 4 week recovery, so I’m feeling better and bored, bit exhausted after taking my new emerald for my first bit of fresh air yesterday.

I read everything I usually do, window shopped instagram and eBay. So I went to shopgoodwill.com. I haven’t been there in ages because the pickings have been slim, but not today! Wow, I was surprised. I am posting the things I found interesting in case they might be what someone here is looking for, or amuse you. And I think "Ireland" would be a great name for her. ( Just sayin'. )
I love that ring! Someday! :)

Recently @lovedogs posted a WTB thread.
As I was in the same ‘wants’ boat and currently looking——-
I sent her a link to a ring she maaaaybe might be interested in.
Unfortunately it didn’t meet her criteria, and her search continues.

She shared with me the hand shots/video of that ring and two others she requested from the vendor.

I ended up buying the ring I had initially suggested for her!
Sadly, local jeweler feels it wasn’t safe to go up 2 sizes - so a reset will be in the works.

Pictured next to my FC band for reference
Both are 2cttw

This is gorgeous - I love it!

Is the other ring in these photos also rose gold? Because the match looks fabulous!

Beautiful, @Mreader!

It’s actually 18 K yellow. I think though that since the rose gold is subtle being an older piece and there’s distance between the two pieces it looks like it can match. But most of my bands are YG so I was looking for a yellow gypsy and I sat on this one for a really long time before pulling the trigger because it was Rose but at the end of the day I just love the shape and the stones won me over. Here’s a closer view of the band also put right next to the gypsy.

They both have heft which I love. That’s why I’m always asking about gram weight lol I’m a sucker for the hefty feel of yellow gold and I hate it when pieces are flimsy.

Just bought 3 new 27pt diamonds. E VS/VVS, individually GIA carted, 34.5 / 40.8 combos, 56-57% tables, depth between 61.7 and 61.9. No fluro, etc etc. Lovely stats.

Going to use my 7 stone ring and remake it into an eternity - roughly 4.3ctw if I use 16 stones - maybe 4.5ctw if I need 17 stones - set in the same style as my previous yellow gold eternity (bead set), but in platinum. Will be around 5mm wide. A substantial, stand alone ring.

Won't be made for a while yet, as I need another 6 or 7 diamonds to complete it. I think I'm racing against @RunningwithScissors, and her bracelet project, to see who finishes first!

This is the setting I'll be emulating, tho this one was made with 13pt diamonds, so the new one will be using diamonds twice as large:

I'm with you on this. And I never wear mixed metals together. But I actually think yours look close enough to be doable. in real life, if the difference is more pronounced and you're not happy with it, have you thought about asking DKJ to melt down the plain band and add a drop of copper to it? It would be cheaper than resetting the gypsy ring and would be STUNNING worn with a Takahashi pair of pink pearl studs!
