I somehow missed that ame had already posted this and was about to post it myself! I freaking love reading that thread. As an engineer I can admire what he did and as a female I can't help but think that it is the sweetest thing ever.

How on earth did I miss those threads??? What an incredible story! I love Undercover's devotion to his goal and his tenacity... and also the support and gentle suggestions offered by PS'ers. Thanks for bringing them to our attention, Clairitek!

ETA I also chuckled at T-Gal's late thread realization that Undercover hadn't yet been "dusted!" I'm sure that helped ensure his success!

Hehe, yeah that was a great thread. And it all worked out after the dusting - the evidence is there!

I LOVED that he had vendors helping too, Jim Summa rocks as it is, but throwing his help in made him rock even more.

I always loved the 24-hour thread because we all knew it was going to be forever deleted and had the freedom to say anything we wanted. It was fun, funny, sad, cathartic, then insanely funny again. Loved it!

I wish I could remember some of those threads where so many of us stayed up and just couldn't stop posting.

That's Leon. PS has a huge love or hate relationship with him. His work his amazing, but he appears to have a "quirky sense of humor". That's what's been explained to me when I questioned his ethics. I think quite a bit of vendors have amazing work so I can live with not understanding one vendor's. But I do admire his baubles, that's for sure!! Anyway, if you read those two threads, you can see how much of an either BLACK or WHITE view of him exists. There really seems to be not much of a gray there!


and I must admit, I always enjoy reading people's talk about him, too.. so those threads were definitely entertaining!
