I had nice time sitting under the oak at Starbucks this afternoon. Sorry if it''s cold out your way, but were being treated to some unbelievable weather for early February. Today''s high was 80 degrees, blue skies, a few puffy clouds and just spectacular. Then I came home did some on-line job searching (nothing, nadda, zippo), then I met Charlie for Sushi, tart fro-yo and coffee under the oak and a starry filled sky. My cold is a bit better today and I hope even more so tomorrow.
Steph, it''s been years since we dined at Peppino''s, but back then it was one of our favorite places and it was so close to our house in Oviedo. I hope it''s still good when you go there. I remember one dish which was cheese filled pasta (maybe ravioli?), with peas and bacon in a vodka sauce, which was to die for. I used to sop up the sauce with the bread until there wasn''t a bit of sauce left on my plate. Wow, I haven''t thought of that dish in forever........
I''m glad you''re feeling better SB!!
You''re certainly welcome Julianna. I hope the book is helpful!
Sorry for the snow CJ and I did take in extra sun and warmth for you!!
cdt, it can take some time for the body to start changing. I think it''s one reason so many people get frustrated and stop working out after only a few weeks. People think they''ll see HUGE changes quickly, but unlike in TV commercials, it just doesn''t happen that way. Don''t get frustrated and stick with working out and you''ll see changes. Plus you are doing weights and are likely building muscle which is denser and weighs more than fat, so as you burn fat and build muscle, you may not see a change on the scale. As Lorelei so succinctly advised us in one of her sage weekly openers, not too long ago, Slow And Steady Wins The Race! Keep up the good work and you will reap the benefits for sure.
Thanks somethingshiny, but I''m not just sure I''m destined to win the lottery. But, I will keep trying for sure!! And yes, I am using an expectorant to help this blasted cold go away.
Welcome Patiently Waiting and EricaR!!
Oh Skippy, I''m so sorry you have a tummy ache. I hope watching the snow make the world all pure and white made it just a little more bearable. I hope you did take some pics and are going to post them. I may not want to live where it snows, but I do enjoy seeing pics of snow. Sounds like your barbeque was great yesterday!!
The only plans I have for tomorrow that I can count on is the gym. God Bless the Gym!
Have a great night everyone. See you tomorrow!
