we need a confessional thread. once again, he said something that makes me all excited and full of butterflies, but i can''t tell anyone IRL, because i sound crazy.

we had our first wedding planning conversation today, about venues and flowers. i''m surprised, because i know he''s still a couple years from being ready, and we haven''t been together that long... AND he brought it up!!

BAD. They skipped over really important stuff, left out major characters, major plot lines, and just skipped from major event to major event, without any time given to the relationship developing. There was no down time to just see Henry and Clare be Henry and Clare, it was ridiculously rushed. I''m bitter. I knew I shouldn''t have high expectations, but they butchered it.

I knwo how you feel, I die alittle on the inside whenever they butcher an alan moore graphic novel, I''m still weeping over "league of extrodinary gentlemen".

Hey ladies! Had a good weekend of getting stuff done around the house. Now we're going to make some delicious dinner. Cheesy potatoes au gratin and pesto pasta. Nom nom nom.

In wedding news, we figured out our honeymoon plans! w00t! I posted a thread over in BWW, but basically we'll be flying into Munich and renting a car (something fun--we're thinking like a BMW 3-series) then driving through Germany, Switzerland, a bit of Northern Italy and Austria. We'll drop the car in Vienna, take the hydrofoil down the Danube to Budapest for a few days, take the train to Prague for a few days then back to Munich and home. I'm so excited! I've spent a fair amount of time in Western Europe and the British Isles & Ireland, but I've never been to Eastern Europe at all.
