I've been obsessed with opals recently and this one took my breath away!

My husband loves watching the opal mining shows (we're based in Aus) an always says we should go out and mine for some... not sure I could handle it but if I found one like this I'd be happy!

It really is a show stopper! I think it was sold for $40,000US.

I could see it in a lovely bezel pendant or in a gorgeous chunky old mine halo.

Beautiful sapphire ring and this IG account has some lovely pieces.

The first ring I shared above reminds me of my sapphire peridot earrings. Time to get those out of the safe and wear them come to think of it.
