I would love to see this stone in person.
It is difficult to discern in the video, but does this asscher have the ''hall of mirrors'' effect? It seems to have well balanced brightness throughout the stone, but when you look into the stone does it give you that depth perception, I couldn''t pick that up in the video.
I know this is the first prototype and there will likely be more. Are you considering slightly increasing the table size and reducing the corners slightly to more resemble the asscher look? To my eyes the table was a bit too small and didn''t allow me to see ''into'' the stone.
Just my two cents. Great stone and would love to have one

Wow, wow, wow!
Storm, have you seen it in person yet? Is it a dream come true?
Too funny, Gypsy! I was writing basically the same thing at the same time you were!Date: 9/23/2009 10:50:46 PM

Congrats Storm.
One little itty bitty thing though... don''t shoot me...but well, um. In terms of marketting diamonds for jewelry for women Volcano may not be the most diplomatic name. You know... ''I got a princess cut for my princess...'' I picked a Novo because it''s unique and new, just like our love... I picked a Jubilee cause that''s how you make me feel. A round brilliant, something cheesey about her brilliance. But um, if my husband had gotten me a diamond named Volcano for my engagement ring, not sure he''s be my husband without some quick talking (just kidding, but you know what I mean).
It reminds me of a star honestly. I think Celestial would be a nice name for the cut. And... it makes for good marketing.
Just my .02. Hope you don''t mind!
I couldn''t help it. I could just see some girl well, errupting in response.Date: 9/23/2009 11:10:05 PM

Strm, I noticed the GIA report was dated May of 2008.
You''ve been keeping a secret from us all this time?
Is this a diamond for yourself or your lady?
