I’m unsure of the price - but he’s based in Sri Lanka, so I am sure it’ll be reasonable all things considered. It’s beaaaautiful and if I wasn’t saving for a cross country move I’d buy it myself lol!!!

EDIT—- Okay it’s $1850 with shipping - SOMEBODY BUY THIS SERIOUSLY

I stopped browsing Lebish website a few months back. I think I’d have sold my kidney for .25ct of an Argyle pink diamond. This emerald is TDF. May be there’s a ring share plan similar to a timeshare. :D

Well, if I had $50,000, I wouldn't loan it to anyone, I'd buy the ring and show it off here, gloating the entire time! :twisted2:

In case anyone is looking for some nice stones (sapphires and rubies mostly), @desertrose_gems on Instagram is at a gem show and has posted some really nice (to my novice eye) gems.

I was super torn about the sapphire she posted. I loved the color but wanted slightly bigger.

I made the mistake of asking if there were larger sapphires. I wanted 10mm or so. She showed me some blues, and I almost bought an oval, but then ended up looking at pinks. I said no pear-shaped stones. I bought this unheated one. :roll2: I need it like another hole in my head...

She showed me a stunning heated one, under 2 ct. for $5000. The ruby pair she posted was such a perfect color! Oh, well....

The ruby pair was such a perfect shade of red. Did anyone buy the glowy small step cut no-oil emerald she posted? I was holding out for something larger, but now I can’t get it out of my head. I hesitated until she was returning home and now I could kick myself.

If you're looking for something larger/smaller/different color than what she posts at these shows, always ask her about it. She's patient and will tell you if there's anything there meeting your specs.

The blue one? Yes! I loved the color

And yes; those rubies! The round pair was 4.8 mm. I really want a 5 mm-5.5 mm pair someday but decided that 4.8 wasn't close enough to what I wanted.

I saw that stone in person. It’s gorgeous!! Here’s my photo of it in the store, which doesn’t do it justice. 17068F70-388D-484F-B7E5-0EF83AA304ED.jpeg

So Jealous!! They rarely photograph as good as they look in person (mine don't, just too much going on which overwhelms the photo sensor) I probably would have bought it if I had been there (not that I need it but oh man...want!!) Plus they also have setting services. I'm embarassed to say it would be a ring, I wouldn't be able to help myself.

A sphene that large would definitely be too distracting to wear to work.

Then I saw these Russian sphenes on Gem Shopping Network in rings by designer Kat Florence. They may be on her website and she has an Instagram

Wow that’s stunning, has anyone here purchased a stone from this vendor? How reputable are they? I want to reach out and see if there’s anything else similar.

I purchased this particular stone from this vendor. He was very responsive and great to work with. I asked for more photos and videos, which showed the sapphire as darker than it looks in this video and were truer to life when I got it. Here are a few photos I took in different lighting once it got here. IMG_3925.jpg IMG_3943.jpg IMG_4015.jpg
