Show me your turquoise jewelry!

no
you are too modest
i just love it
but as wonderful as the stone is it needed you to highlight its great beauty
as well as being very talented you have a great eye and vision

Thank you so much Daisy! ❤️
I appreciate your kind words.

I made this pendant last Saturday afternoon. I bought the stone from a vendor at my local gem/ mineral show.

It's Persian turquoise with pyrite inclusions, 38 cts. Sterling silver.
The third photo shows the most accurate color of the turquoise.

Absolutely stunning! Everything you make I keep thinking "wow, that's my favorite!" so I guess I just love them all. @Autumn in New England I'll be fighting you for that first spot in line.

@stracci2000 I love your new pieces. I also like working with my hands and I love art and design. I have painted and done various paper arts and pottery in the past. At this phase in life I still dont feel like I have the energy to really indulge but as my kids are getting older and more independent I can see things opening up and I envision a vet near future where I too could learn this skill. I think I am going to begin with learning to string pearls and beads though. It’s in the to do list for the next year.

I did some minimal silverwork, nothing like Stracci's of course, but found it a bit stressful because it felt like you couldn't come back easily from some kinds of mistakes. Whereas stringing pearls and beads is almost completely non-destructive. Worst case you don't like it and you just try again! Even expensive pearls are non-stressful for me at least.

Those stones are made from turquoise chunks compressed with a copper colored matrix. An assembled stone.
They are really pretty, but not naturally occurring.
I would use two-part epoxy to glue them into the belt.
This will be very chic!
