I couldn't stand it. You all know what I mean.
Knowing it was in that shop and not on my hot little hand.
So I bought it.

Awesome! I love 1. the size, and 2. that matrix! Untreated sleeping beauty can have white matrix, although I see you think instead it's whitewater. 3. And the setting lets that baby really shine.

Modified cat eye frames are trendy right now.
I have a similar pair myself!

My DH just received these bolo ties and pendant from his dad. They were made by a neighbor back in the 70s, in Albuquerque.
The neighbor was Clarence Sousea, the pieces are marked C.R. Sousea.
Dad also gave us these cool Pueblo pots (Isleta and Acoma) and two amazing axe heads. Dad found the axe heads years ago while hiking in northern New Mexico.

I picked up a few pretty pieces of assorted turquoise at a local Gem and Mineral show yesterday.

And DH chose a very cool dinosaur bone cab and a fire agate. I will be making rings for him soon.

That looks like a nice chunk of Bisbee at 12 o'clock, @stracci2000! :mrgreen2:

Yay! I'm glad you think so! Bisbee is so cool, and desirable!
The stone at 2 o'clock was sold to me as Morenci.
All the others I picked out of a random tray from a different vendor. The vendor did not know the origin of the stones, I just chose ones that I liked.
I'm thinking 6 o'clock is Royston and 8 o'clock is #8....they both have a little bit of green, so thinking Nevada mines. Just guessing here.

Stacking my favorite vintage bracelet with a mikimoto akoya wire cuff today!

What a nice combination! And that cuff is amazing!

I finally strung my Sleeping Beauty turquoise from NewWorldGems. The earrings are also Sleeping Beauty but from a different Etsy shop where I got the findings, which are 20k gold. I wish the match were better, but so it goes. I'm not sold on my decision of where to put the gold beads on the necklace so I'll probably restring them at some point.

I also made a Fox Mine turquoise bracelet for my partner. I have some extra of the Fox Mine that I'll knot with some sterling silver beads for me. Here are the two strands together and then the finished Sleeping Beauty set!

fabulous
all of it !
your partners bracelet is so cool
you are lucky you can knot (it looks very very neat btw) so if you get bored with the bead placement you can rearrange it from time to time
that sleeping beauty is to die for

i think that match between the earring findings and and the necklace gold beads are close enough and will not even be noticed my most people so do not point it out ;)2
