My 1.19ct E VS1 EC right hand ring, bezel set in platinum. It is made for my middle right hand finger and I would need to size it up a size before I can wear it on that finger again.Worn here with a 2mm titanium band to keep it in place.

That is a stunning EC. I especially love those in bezel settings. Those stones are made for bezels, right? I love it.

I commented in your DSS thread that your stone looks bigger than a 2.59. What are the dimensions? Also, how long have you had your diamond? How long have you had it in the setting?

I commented in your DSS thread that your stone looks bigger than a 2.59. What are the dimensions? Also, how long have you had your diamond? How long have you had it in the setting?

Hi Braga123, I have had the current five stone setting since July 2013, and bought the stone in September 2012. The stone dimensions are 8.74x8.77. I should have instituted a probation period when I bought my stone. I must wear it in a plain setting for at least a year and a half...

I have a Star129, Specs are 1.15 H VS1. They don't source or cut rough of that clarity grade anymore without a custom cut (despite my CONSTANT HARASSMENT) so mine's a really rare one. If I ever upgrade I don't know if Ill be able to trade this in "in good conscience" lol

That's right Ame. I remember it was something rare. Yeah, you'd have to pry that off my cold dead fingers. That is one that I am sure pictures do not do justice. When is PS going to let you post videos?? That one head on pic from the top down, boy that faceting is crazy!! I wish I could see a Star129 one day in real life.

If you ever end up in my neck of the woods look me up and you can see it in person!!! We can do lunch and you can check it out! The videos really don't even do it justice. I might try to put a few on my Instagram...if I can get good ones... I think the macros are the best shots I've ever been able to get to show off the faceting and awesomeness. Unless you're super up close in person you can't EXACTLY tell unless you know what to look for. You just know it's "different somehow" compared to regular.

Missy, how do yo get anything done every day? Wouldn't you be in the middle of a conversation and then get distracted by your ring and go, "Wow, my stone is soooo gorgeous!!"

Hehe, thanks LLJsmom. I will admit to *occasionally* getting distracted by my ring during the workday and *sometimes* snapping phone pics while I am working. Who knew ugly fluorescent lighting could be so pretty for diamonds?

Daisyoz, your setting and set is beautiful. One thing that I have been noticing is how harmonious and beautiful a set looks when the shank widths of the rings are the same. I have been trolling the celebrity threads and constantly gravitate toward certain sets. They all have rings of similar shank width. I just love those. Yours is a perfect example. I have bands of differing widths which I would change up, but for daily wear, I like something like yours.

Thanks! I love that ring, it is my go-to piece of jewellery whenever I need a pick-me-up and feel good about myself.

I don't know if ECs are made for bezels or not, I just don't like prong-set after losing the centre stone of one of my mum's rings.

Thanks, I adore mine. And yep, it's an H. H stones are my sweet spot. I don't like paying more for higher color.
