I know this is an older thread, but thought I'd share pictures of my new lovely OEC. It's 1.47ct M from JbG. I've been wanting a warmer stone for a while and knew I'd want it set in 18k yellow gold. My previous set, a 5-stone, were I and J stones. The 5-stone I wear as a RHR now are in the J/K/L range. I just ordered a .92 ct M SI pear for a pendant and now I'm thinking/planning for a 1.70-1.75 ct L/M color pear set in yellow or rose gold.

It looks like a warm vanilla or soft ivory in most lighting conditions. Sometimes a really soft buttery yellow. So pretty!







I paired it with a 1.20 ct ruby eternity band. I should be receiving a micro eternity to wear as as spacer.

Thank You, dkata. It's Caysie's Zoe. I choose it because of extremely thin girdle my stone has. Security was very important to me, because I haven't found easy way to insure jewelry here in Finland.

I love your setting! I enjoy the two toned, she made a yellow gold basket which gives the stone a "fancy yellow" appearance in certain lighting and sometimes when it's sunny outside, face-up it's much more white. I enjoy having a two toned ring as most of my other jewels are platinum or white gold.

Yes, one of their eBay storefronts. I have been used them for settings for my color stones. I have no complaints whatsoever. Really nice settings for the prices. My local jeweler quotes me 3-4x of what I paid.


I love my cluster ring But it is sitting in my jewelry box recently as I'm in the solitaire mood.

I think (I can't quite tell via mobile!!) that these are the photos that show my ring best as a yellow diamond, and as a white/grey diamond.

Cloudy days are better for white diamond views, and direct sun absolutely shows me yellow from the top and especially from the sides!!

Top photo in a plane, direct sun. Bottom photo is on a cloudy day. I think it's a an O-P (approx) GIA diamond, though the AGL cert is L-M from memory. Either way, I bloody love it!
