Just an update. Thrilled to share this stunner. Oyster Perpetual 31 in turquoise blue. Got it today. My Rolex journey is now on its way. Don’t think it’s ending though…

This is for @Tonks ! Stole my husband's Batman for fun :D (Terrible lighting - the blue color is awesome, I need to work on my photography skills...)

That size looks great on you. Big but not too big. I'm so jealous. Ugh. What is wrong with my wrist.

Haha, don't be jealous!! Smaller wrists/fingers means your bling looks all that much bigger, and that is the most important thing of course :D

Besides, the 31mm size looks so good on you! You have lots of great options at that size. And maybe one day Rolex will make slightly smaller versions of the professional models, like what they used to have with the 35mm YM...

(Side note that seeing how the 31mm looks on your wrist inspired me to go to a couple ADs to try on whatever was in store, and now I'm thinking that on me a 36mm DJ actually looks better. I'm going to say that pregnancy made my wrists get bigger lol. And you've also got me rethinking the roman numerals and debating going with sticks for a cleaner look, haha!)

I wish I could touch and feel a 35 YM before committing to buying it. Sigh. I tried on my DH's 36 OP and it looks awkward and feels heavy. Maybe it's a matter of getting accustomed to it.

The roman numerals on a 36 look good though, not all crammed up like on the 31. I do love the batons cause I can see them at night. I used to not like sticks at all. As I get older, I want more simplicity, and it's just plain easier for deteriorating eyesight...

@LLJsmom As you know, I LOVE your new watch!! I am so behind around here and need to catch up! The 31 is perfect on you! There's no way a 35 would work on your tiny wrist! Plus, tiny purses are back in, and I am betting women's watches are going to swing back to smaller sizes, too. That's why a medium size like 31 will have the greatest longevity for a woman's watch, in my opinion. Your search has made me want to go try them on again! The only thing is...I have gotten in the habit of not wearing a watch at all! So I am not certain whether I should buy another one or not! (That turquoise surely would tempt me, though!)

I vintage Cartier and a diamond Cyma watch. I was told Cyma made watches for Tiffany's but honestly, I didn't care. I loved the shape and size of the watch! 20210707_100538.jpg 20210707_100716.jpg 20210707_100701.jpg 20210707_100528.jpg

Great watches! Loving the Cartier cuff. The sapphire is working overtime to photobomb your lovely pictures. The blue is incredible.

Omg I’m just now seeing this!

You should tell your husband you *need* to share custody of that beautiful watch. It looks AMAZING on you!!!! That one has a glide lock, so you can adjust it, right???

Oooh, this is gorgeous! Love the pop of color on you! And the size is fantastic. That’s a nice clean face, too. I haven’t gotten to see these in person but my AD says there’s a huge waitlist for them.

It really looks cool on your wrist, is it a 36mm?
I am hoping to get a 36mm either this color or candy pink :). AD called up finally, was offered a 41mm instead, so 1 of my 3 men in the house got lucky :)
Will show when it arrives.

Looks great - is this a 36mm?

Yeah it’s a 36mm he has small wrist and hands for a man, it took him 10 months to get this one, he ordered and paid for it the day after it was released, I guess the blue and I think he said the pink are the hardest to get actually almost impossible

31mm does look more appropriate on my small wrist TBH but I adore the double stick markers @ 3/6/9 o’clock hence I expressed interest for a 36mm instead.
Now you @diamondringlover make me think if I should get a pink if offered? Well, I guess I would take any if one comes along includes yellow :)

It looks great on you, too. I like oversized watches.
On him, it is a classic refined size. I absolutely love this watch. Congratulations to him for getting such a great Rolex.

My new anniversary present, Omega Seamaster with Tahitian MOP dial. I have many very nice watches but I've never fallen for a watch like this one. It is so gorgeous in person and I can't get a good picture of it for anything.

That is gorgeous and is exactly what I would want in a Rolex if ever I was able to get one!!
Happy Anniversary!!
