Please help with my Asscher cut purchase

Was wondering if I should be seeing this when the stone is held in a prong holder? Not sure if I'm being paranoid or not? Both are visible but the one on the right is more apparent and clearly noticeable. Unless it's the angle the stones were facing?

Wondering if that's hardware from the prongs, someone with better eyes needs to look. Are these two from the ones stacked up your finger and photographed over red?

It's the prongs from the holder I believe but I'm just not certain if they should be visible like that or I'm just overanalyzing. And these two are different stones from another vendor. I was only able to see them virtually.

I would not be happy with that.
Finding a nice Asscher can be daunting. Have you reached out to Rhino at Distinctive Gems? He's super fussy about cut.
Or you could try Todd Gray @ niceice, if he's still doing the concierge thing. I bought my Asscher thru him.
Diamonds by Lauren has both mined and lab-grown diamonds and David loves step-cuts. He's very well-thought of on this forum.

Here is a video of the stone on the right without the prong holder. I'm not sure if it's changes anything.

I still see a lot of leakage and not a lot of flashes or fire, but I'm not sure if that's just the nature of asschers. (Can you tell I'm not an expert)

Reading this entire thread last night, I saw several links to some very nice Asschers. Maybe they're not the size you want. I believe the person who posted that they couldn't find good cuts in the 4 ct range, since huge lab diamonds are relatively new and as Asschers quite rare.
You've presented a number of high color high clarity stones that window to some degree. If it doesn't bother you, buy one! Pick the most beautiful one and enjoy it. We all like what we like.

Thank you for the message, you're right there were a few asscher that were nice and unfortunately they were a bit smaller than I hoped. Being new to the LGD scene, I didn't realize Asschers were more rare than RB but makes sense. That being said, I do appreciate your sentiment about choosing one and enjoying it. It's been interesting hunting for stones but a bit disappointed I haven't that one yet.

Hi all,

Found two stones but may work but curious if anyone sees an issue for them? Not sure how to detect striations well yet unfortunately. Is it the lighting but it looks like there's some graining visible in the first one? Or do both have it and I'm not seeing it? Would either one be a choice going off of the photos?

I can't choose asschers without videos to see how the light moves.
