I LOVE it!!! It looks beautiful on your hand and I especially like the semi bezel setting - I am SOOOOO tempted to change my 6-prong to a plain semi bezel setting - it really compliments the round diamond.

I also think that stand-alone rings work well, but let''s face it, when you have rings like yours, they hold the limelight incredibly well!!

I think the setting does work really well with a round too. I like more unusual shapes and I like that this setting plays with the shape somewhat and makes it look a little like an E/W cushion. Semi-bezels are gorgeous!! If I were going to switch from a simple solitaire I would get that sleek scholt setting!

Yup, my five stone band will remain on my left while this ring goes on my right. I like them that way since they are two stand alone blingy rings!! My previous stone was a .74 radiant actually. I still love radiants, but after experiencing the sparkle factor from my wedding band I swayed over...and am very happy!

I think danhov did a fabulous job in designing this setting! I love that every angle was thought about and made sure it was lovely. I think that so many rings are beautiful from the top, but ignored from the sides.

I really didn''t like RB''s myself at first either. However, there really is a huge difference in sparkle between rounds and other shapes. I''ve never seen a square hearts and arrows, but I bet I would really like them too!

It basically just looked so bright that you couldn''t see much, like an overexposed copy. Have you tried it with your ring or only with loose stones?

I''m pretty happy with the size difference. I didn''t really go that much larger, but it looks quite a bit larger to me! I also think the bar prongs on the side make the stone look bigger, especially from far away.

It''s just a little bit bigger, but I think the side prongs make the stone look even larger. I have a tiny hand too, a pricescope advantage LOL!

I meant to ask you, did Danhov customize your setting with the pave side prongs? Because I didnt notice that feature on Goldenstar and Portia''s rings...their side prongs do not have pave...just wondering...I love it!!!
