I love your ring kcoursolle! (I have it too.. heheh) Very pretty!! I love the knife-edge pave... it looks sparkly from every direction! I will say that I wear this setting everyday, all day/night and I''ve had no problems whatsoever. It''s very sturdy and well crafted. And your diamond is just gorgeous!! What a combo!

Woohoo, I probably looked at your threads a dozen times. You have a very beautiful set! I think this setting works really well with cushions like yours, just fabulous! Glad to hear your ring has held up well.

Natural bright lighting helps. I usually backlight or diffuse the lighting. I use the macro button without flash. Then I get really close and the camera does the rest!

I have to admit that I was never originally a round lover either. I'm naturally more drawn to rectanular and oblong shapes. However, after having a wedding band with well-cut rounds I was totally sold. I like this setting because it makes it look slightly oblong East/West and it's not your average plain soliataire with a round in it.

I LOVE it!!! It looks beautiful on your hand and I especially like the semi bezel setting - I am SOOOOO tempted to change my 6-prong to a plain semi bezel setting - it really compliments the round diamond.

I also think that stand-alone rings work well, but let''s face it, when you have rings like yours, they hold the limelight incredibly well!!
