I agree that the diamond band would look amazing as a right hand ring, as it can certainly hold its own. You wouldn’t want to detract from the EC being the main star!

I have to say I am loving it and find myself looking down at my hand to see this ring so white staring back at me. It is so much whiter than a normal L. I have an L antique cushion That looks much warmer than this step cut. I also have a D color round brilliant so I am certainly color sensitive but I don’t mind this L step cut at all. If anything, I love the lower color when found the right one gives you so much more size and I think it’s nice with fancy shape like this. Outside it is much nicer and whiter. Here an indoor pic again and I really like the simplicity of the ring. So so happy that I have this forum to share this journey with and all your support and enabling me to buy more than 1 engagement ring. .

after 3 weeks of waiting around for the ring to be made, today I finally got it home. I love the simplicity of the solitaire and its double claw prongs. I initially was not sure how the L color would look but after receiving the stone loose and playing with it for a few days (as well as seeing Blingalinga and her beautiful L), I am so happy I decided on mine. Here it is from the few pictures this evening in the kitchen.

Here it is paired with my wedding band. Do you think I should I wear them separate? I am a bit torn. I like my wedding band on the ring finger of my left but I am not sure if it’s taking away from the EC.
