My Dream EC from Whiteflash

after 3 weeks of waiting around for the ring to be made, today I finally got it home. I love the simplicity of the solitaire and its double claw prongs. I initially was not sure how the L color would look but after receiving the stone loose and playing with it for a few days (as well as seeing Blingalinga and her beautiful L), I am so happy I decided on mine. Here it is from the few pictures this evening in the kitchen.

I love emerald cuts and yours is lovely. I really like the setting, too. The taper towards the diamond looks elegant and really makes the diamond pop. The double prongs are a nice touch, as well. So very pretty! I can't believe it's an L color! It looks terrific. Congratulations on your gorgeous ring.

Here it is paired with my wedding band. Do you think I should I wear them separate? I am a bit torn. I like my wedding band on the ring finger of my left but I am not sure if it’s taking away from the EC.

I do like it better with the plain wedding band, though the diamond band is stunning. I would probably switch the diamond band to your right hand.

Whilst I also love your diamond band, I agree with @Austina in that the emerald cut looks perfect alone with the plain band. I would wear the diamond band on the right hand - it’s substantial enough on its own

I would wear the diamond band separate from the EC and plain band. Both pack a strong punch so I would enjoy the dazzling effect on separate hands.

Beautiful stone and I love the double prongs! There is nothing more elegant imo than a large emerald cut solitaire. I agree with the others, a ring like yours packs a gorgeous punch, the diamond band detracts from it. Enjoy your gorgeous bling!

Thank you all for your kind words and support. I went to the supermarket today and the ring flowed like crazy but I didn’t want to be so obvious that I am staring at my ring in fear of people thinking it’s weird. . I took a few more shots of the ring with and without my band and even my mom agrees I should wear it with a plain band. I have another L color cushion and the EC is much whiter. I am sooo happy to take a plunge to buy a stone and ring entirely online. My friends just cannot get it! They think it’s so weird that I am buying such a large priced ticket item from someone unknown or virtual site. To be honest, I was a bit nervous but I am so happy now. This community is great - but not great for my wallet. Oy this obsession.
