Hahaa....okay, I fess up. I did get my ring on Monday, but I wasn''t happy with how it turned out in rose gold. The benchman didn''t create the head that I requested. So I went back and had the stone set into my original e-ring setting instead. It''s not quite the ideal situation, but it will do for now. You are right, a white metal shank does bring a nice contrast to the stone. I will eventually have the head redone in rose gold. I may have to send it to WF for a future project. For right now, it''s set and I''m able to wear it.

I took some pics this week. I have to warn you, it''s not perfect, but at least you will be able to see it in a ring. I''ll try to take more pics tonight.

Wow, someone knew that was a hypercube. I have a degree in math, and I love to read up on theoretical physics (higher dimension stuff).

Yes, you are right. It is a 2D representation if you only consider spatial dimensions.

TL, this is just for you. This is what Peachy looked like in all rose gold. I really like the color of the rose gold, but they didn''t change the round head. So the pointy end was left bare. Also, the full rose gold setting drowned out the color of the diamond. I know, I know. A lot of you told me so.

But I had to find out the hard way.

Here it is on my wedding set. I really like the contrast of the white metal, but it is still on a round head. So she will be off again. I''m going to go with a trusted PS vendor this time. The third time has to be a charm. I didn''t want to start a SMTR thread half-heartedly. It must be done right, so I''d rather wait.

PR, you''re way too kind, and I appreciate the kind words. There are many people on PS that I look up to for advice and knowledge about colored gems, so you give me way too much credit, but I appreciate the sweet words.

I love your diamond, and I think you should get a small keychain UV light to play with now that you''ve started a budding colored diamond collection. I would love to see if that stone has any flourescence. Those lights are around $5, and sold all over ebay.
