Of course door_knob_solitaire! I have been indulging myself with all the "fabulous and flashy" ring photos PSers have shared and it was only my turn to return that favor! I did not want to waste any time in doing so, either!

And really... many thanks to you, Madam Bijoux, and canuk-gal for the sweet compliments. My husband and I are very compatible, and I know I am going to spend the rest of my life with him! The past 8 years I have spent with him were the best of my life and it just keep on getting better, can you believe it?! I love him more than anything I have ever known, and that is including my beautiful new ring!!!

I can''t believe I said that, but it is true. I love him dearly!!!

ering is in avatar, here''s WB. I wear this sucker 24/7--and it''s been a surprising help over the last 11 months, for some reason it makes me feel more connected to FI (couldn''t bring the ering to Morocco, so we just got the WB early).


It''s only a year old--and it''s already got a bit of a patina! I love how simple it is and how it is basically the style opposite of my ering.

my husband is in shanghai for the summer, but thankfully our separation is only for 3 months, this time. one of the hardest things for us about grad school is that our research/work takes us to completely different places (most recently, i was in vietnam for a month last spring). one of my cohort has spent the past 1.5 years in egypt, so her husband found a job in Dubai to be closer to her.
i love your sapphire, by the way. such a deep rich color.
