This is my original 1988 engagement diamond reset recently. It was bought as a K VS2 ( no certificates) but has been reappraised several times for insurance and comes back as J SI1. It was originally set in yellow gold and I could definitely see tint then. I’m so happy with it now! I have other rings but obviously this has so much sentimental value. And, it’s when I discovered how colorblind my husband really is. I pick out my jewelry now.

My center is J and the sides are G/H. I really only see the color in certain lighting environments and mostly from the side, top down is never particularly tinted.
