Trump’s relationship with the Saudi’s is another interesting topic. He has done business with the Saudi’s before he was president. How can he be impartial when he has made financial gains in his business dealings with them. How is this not a conflict of interest?

I have been trying to put my finger on what bothered me so much about Kanye’s visit to the White House when he was so obviously unstable.

I am going to say obviously unstable because I have bipolar disorder and I know exactly what Kanye’s kind of talk means. The thing that stood out hugely for me was his dislike for number 13 and trapdoor talk and his expectation that everyone knew exactly what he was talking about...that they were on his mental plane. That’s me when I’m dangerously manic. Anyone who has a bipolar type I person in their lives knows that talk.

Mania in certain stages can be vivacious and deceptive, but once it is disorganized like this, there is no hiding it. Everyone knows you’re ill. They knew he was ill before the cameras started rolling. The only question to ask now is why did they film this sick man anyway? Why didn’t they give this mentally ill man his dignity and send him home?

If I were to guess, trump wanted a distraction from all of the negative press about Kavanaugh. Film the outlandish mentally ill Kanye and everyone will argue about him and forget all about the man who committed sexual assault in the Supreme Court. We do have an election coming up...we need people to forget!

I feel a certain amount of anger at this time when I see conservatives try and defend Kanye’s mental health when I know his illness is being exploited. I would like to keep things honest. If anyone gave a shit about him or mental illness in general, they wouldn’t have put him on camera in that condition under that context.

Trump exploited Kanye. Any one listening to Kanye yesterday knew something was very wrong. The man has come forward letting people know he is bipolar. Nothing Kanye said made any sense. He needed help.

Yesterday while Florida was dealing with the devastating aftermath of a hurricane, Trump went ahead with a meeting with Kanye. Trump knows Kanye has serious mental health issues and still found it acceptable to exploit the man. Trump is a pig.

I think what we are missing here is that Trump supporters don't expect politicians and those on their "side" to make sense and may even enjoy them more when they don't (sounds just like me!). Transcripts of Trump's speeches/rants sound very much like Kanye.

And yes, DF, I find Trump embarrassing too for the same reason. So in your view that makes me racist against whites and blacks.

Trump had to know Kanye was having issues before the interview began. If Trump was not aware before, he certainly knew after the interview started. He should have stopped the interview immediately and tried to get Kanye help away from the world watching. Trump used Kanye as a distraction.

Why would any of us think Trump would act like a decent human being and try to help someone? SMDH. Trump and his family of grifters think of no one but themselves.

After seeing Melania’s interview the other night, I think she and her husband were made for each other.

Melania made remarks about how women need to be heard and if a woman comes forward with sexual assault allegations, she needs to have really hard evidence to prove it happened.

Melania said her husband’s affairs were “not a concern or focus of mine. I am a mother and a First Lady. I have much more important things to think about and to do.”

After watching the interview, I came away with the impression that Trump and Melania deserve one another. Red and Dancing Fire will probably view the interview differently.

I didn't watch it, just saw the reported highlights like you included above. I was puzzled by why she'd even do the interview and then it occurred to me that perhaps she is seemingly on the same page as the orange one because she was promised a better divorce settlement if she helped him win a 2nd term.
