Let me see the if I can find a setting for it.
I'm really liking that pear...
What do you think of this setting? The shape reminds me of the ballerina type rings she has pinned. It has a vintage feel. I think
it is lovely in pink gold. It does have somewhat of a "halo" but it is not your classic halo to make the stone look bigger. Good finger
coverage north/south and east/west. AND, it's less than $2k for a pretty nice look! Click on the movie on the web page and you can
see a "real" version of the ring spinning.

Ugh!! I LOVE that setting! DK did one similar, but I couldn't find it... To me, that's perfect! [emoji7][emoji7]
I alway forget about Joseph Jewelry, but they have some pretty settings.

OP DK is in LA, too, according to Google!

Also a nice looking stone...lovely shape, good light return, lower color but you are going with rose gold so not an issue, VS2 so thumbs
up there and it's slightly bigger than the one that I like (8.94x5.54). Ok, I think I have a new favorite. I would put this one on hold.

. Really helps to clarify size differences.
tduenas - I would see if EnchantedDiamonds could send you a picture of it in regular office lighting and more sure the
tip is not showing too much color. Probably not an issue but I would ask.

Yes, it's sooo super helpful! I forgot to crop out the site in my screen shot -- oops! [emoji56]
Anybody know why we can't mention it? Seems odd...
Regarding color, the I will show color, but since it's gonna be in RG, not such an issue. The 0.95 D will be SUPER ICY WHITE though. Just saying... [emoji56][emoji39]

The OP is wrong on the halo. She has many halos pinned, all of them HW style. No airline.
I am wondering if she just doesn't like bright cut.

This does look like some of her pins, but I worry that it doesn't specify any lab certification or any way to confirm the seller's thoughts about clarity, etc. I know this seller is recommended here and I follow them as well, so maybe they would be willing to send it out for certification? Or sell it contingent upon that? I like this one better than the other that MSOP posted below, because the one below has a "pad" sapphire with a horrific cut that is almost 100% NOT a pad sapphire (and that irks me that vendors use that label for any stone with a "peach" hue).

I agree... I would want a lab cert as well. It reminded me a lot of some of her pins.
...Regarding the second link, I just thought it was pretty. [emoji56]
lovedogs said:Sorry if I was harsh on the 2nd ring, MSOP! I do like the setting, I just have instantreaction when vendors put the label "pad" on center stones that clearly don't have that distinction. Kind of like how everything blue these days is "paraiba". It makes me sad because people end up paying a premium for a name that doesn't actually apply. But the setting is really unique and cool (IMHO).
I should edit that as long as the buyer knows that the label isn't "official" via grading then its totally fine. I've purchased zircons that were called "paraiba-colored", but I was completely aware that the label wasn't "real". So I guess I just advocate knowing what you're getting with CS, since the labels are so inconsistent.
