Has anyone ever lost a piece of jewelry and then found it?

I just found a pair of tinnnnnny yellow gold hoop earrings I bought during covid as my "wear all the time" pieces. I was so heartbroker when I lost them that I finally bought two more pair (yes... TWO... yanno -- just in case!) a few jewelry shows ago. Now I've got THREE pairs -- plus a fourth pair I got in white gold too LOL.

But hoops are great. And packable. Have more than one pair BC they can disappear, especially if they are light weight. As I said to my DH, ahhhh where is my hoop earring?

LOL @Dee*Jay. I’m also a just in case girl. I have two pairs of my favorite small hoop earrings. I consider the extra pair my 2 spare earrings. Reading your post is making me think I may need a third pair.

i found my great grandma's wedding ring
it was quite dissmil today weather wise and i was in the bedroom putting some jewllery on to go visit my friend and i had to switch the light on
i saw the gold sparkling in the light
it was just on my duchess where i had looked like 22 times !


of course now i cant find mum's eternity ring that dad gave her when i was born

That is frustrating to realize your mum's eternity ring is misplaced right now but, hopefully, it will sparkle it's way back into your eyes just as your grandma's wedding ring did earlier.

"Ever"?! I don't think we have ever not lost a piece of jewelry and then found it. We are pretty much in a perpetual state of "I know it's around here somewhere..." And I invariably -- and helpfully -- ask "Where did you last see it?" And that never fails. Actually, it fails 100% of the time but never fails to elicit an "Oh, like that would not have occurred to me?!" look.
