Correlation between Shoe Size & Ring-Finger Size...

Definitely not true for me. Shoe size = 8.5 and ring size = 5.5 I am not sure about my SO.

Sonnyjane and I must be "sole" sisters -- I'm a shoes size 11 with a 6-6.25 ring size too!

(I hate being 9.5, not because I have 'big' feet, but because most shoe manufacturers stop doing 1/2 sizes after size 9, so you have a choice between size 9 and size 10 and one is too big for me and one too small).
Interestingly, before I had kids, which made my feet grow permanently (about 1/2 size per kid) I was a size 8 1/2 shoe--and a size 8 ring. My wedding ring is size 8 and I have all kinds of trouble with it, since it is a style that can't be sized down without ruining the style (and probably erasing the inscription). I was more 'zaftig' when I got married, weighed about 25 pounds more than I do now, but I don't understand why losing a little weight made the ring swim on me like it does. My fingers have never been chubby--I've always had what people call 'piano player hands' with long slim fingers, so I don't know why I had the extra width? My hands look exactly the same now too as they did then.

Side note--those piano player fingers are why I have such big feet--I have really long thin toes, too. And my feet LOOK great, people always say what beautiful feet I have when I'm in sandals or bare feet. That's no comfort when shopping for shoes, however, nor is it a comfort when I'm with my MIL who wears a size 5 and is always asking me, "What size are your feet, dear?" --(and looking superior when I answer). I take comfort in the fact that she has all these bunions and corns and hammertoes and I don't know what else, while I don't have anything like that, probably because my shoes actually fit me (she probably should really wear a size 6) and I almost never wear high heels, pointy toes or things of that sort.

Yes, they are and you have to be careful even with the metal ones. Do you know, if you want to buy a wide ring, you can't use a ring sizer that is narrow--your size will be off. Happened to me once. Fortunately they resized the second time for free as they felt they were at fault for having used the wrong sizer.

Ring sizes only correlate to Boys and Men's sizes

Doesnt work for me either..although I have monster fingers and feet..8 1/2-8/ 3/4 ring, size 11 feet..the feet were
smaller pre children, as was ring size..10 feet, 7 1/2 ring.

Interesting idea. Doesn't hold true with me though. I wear a size 7 shoe and a 4.5 size ring. I think height might have more of a correlation which does relate (usually) to shoe size.

Mine is the same, both are a size 6.

DH is not the same, he wears a size 15 shoe and a size 13 ring.

Ditto the sizing exactly for me. Cannot imagine shoe and ring size being the same. Plus men's and women's shoe sizes are different, but rings are universal.

There seems to be a closer correlation if you use UK shoe sizing

I'm a 7 1/4 ring size and between a UK size 7 and 7/2 shoe size.
