I was just thinking something like a Facebook auction would work. Everyone just chiming in a bid until the clock runs out. This would just be minus FB.

Hmmm, it did not show up well cropped, here is the pic Jeff sent to me next to my Imperial Topaz.

I consider my quest for an Emerald completed, even though it is a synthetic.

Oooh...gorgeous! Stunning! I have no words creative enough to express the beauty of your emerald. Definitely the prettiest emerald I have seen even though it is synthetic. This turns me off of collecting natural emerald because the synthetic just looks so much more beautiful! Your emerald is just perfect!

Any chance he’d share what the material is? Djeva 114 is what I’ve seen referred to ask “cobalt spinel”, but I’m curious if this is different.

Here are pics they sent of some cut stones. Not as bright/neon as I was hoping for, TBH. But I think the cutting isn't ideal, so that makes things not look as good.

I think so? This is what the vendor sent when I asked for pics of the Cobalt blue that was on sale as rough.

Hi Maisie, I have never purchased from them, but there is a gem factory I used to pass as a kid on my way up north in a tiny town in Michigan. I just looked on their site and they say they made yellow sapphire and also sell loose stones. It looks like a very old school operation, in fact the pictures look exactly like I remember the place as a kid in the 70’s!
