I heard that the oldest gems on earth are zircon inclusions found in diamonds. They''re around 4 billion years old (don''t quote me on that, I''m recalling from memory).

Here's a fun photo of Sybil. 1.5 green grey diamond. She has lots of sparkle, and my camera only caught a small part of her fire. I think she's really well cut for a colored diamond too. Cutting is usually not paid attention to as much with these stones. Sorry for the dust on the stone. She goes minty in other lighting.
