Can you tell me about hexagonal diamonds?

My husband has already expressed interest in upgrading my center stone. I was looking for a FLY OEC but am thinking maybe a hexagonal diamond instead? Like below:

I’ve never seen one in person. One on Leibish looks less step cut(ish?) than this one. Are these just unpopular? I read the resale on these shapes is poor. Thoughts?

As with anything that is in lower demand, a resale market will be smaller, but sometimes I think that we should approach things from the 'life is short so enjoy the now' point of view

Hexagons keep getting more interesting! If I can sell my set I’ll buy one. I’d like it to be a yellow diamond
