Thanks Anita! I love the EC shape but it is not the best for showing off the color of my sapph... if I knew then what I know now I would have opted for a cushion type cut or something! But it is the original e-ring and although I am not all that sentimental, I feel attached to this ring. Are there any pictures of your ring?

It is stinkin' hot where I am too My husband is from Ontario where everyone has ec, but of course on the west coast no one does! haha... he cannot understand it at all.

i've posted it, seemingly, a gazillion times around here. it's a .99 carat, 5.6 mm round sapphire that i now wear as a rhr.

btw dreamer, i'm orig from ontario too and i, for the life of me, can't understand why a/c isn't standard here on the west coast! total lunacy
